haha, 191dB would deafen you in a second lol. i have this speaker, it puts out 121dB peak. it is decent, but i only use it for djing, its not powerful enough for band gigs and will distort/clip. it does sound great though.
@runoftheianmiller21 it said in its speaks 191 DB at 1 M full peak, anyways yeah i love this speaker, 2 would be good for small gigs, and i use mine for movies gaming, and youtube, sounds great with my sub
@mortarlover123: It's spec'd at 121 dB max, your specs have a typo. 191 dB is physically impossible within the Earth's atmosphere. You have to be standing under one of the shuttle's Rocket Boosters to get in the 180 dB range....so I don't think this cab will be louder than a rocket booster...LOL.
Can you put 3 mics in it at a time? can you plug an instrument such as guitar or bass as a direct input DI? Could you use it as a band practice pa? thanks
For a band i would definatly use two, this alone i found out isnt loud enough for a band, but two will work, you can plug 3 mics in , or one mic one bass and one guitar, you cant expect too much from a single 200.00 speaker
Well let's hear it!!! I bought 2 of these speakers, actually i went onto musicians friend and got the PA package for 499.00. I got the behringer mixer, 2 behringer mics 2 harbinger speakers, and the stands, not to mention they have a sale going right now. since i spent 500.00, i will get back 100.00 to get anything in their store. Now i'm thinking a couple of good mic stands, maybe shure sm58 mic.
prepare to carry big boxes into your house... lol the size of this thing surprised me when it showed up to my door, so what do you plan on doing with that setup you bought
Karaoke, and my husband like to play the guitar. Even though he's got 2 amps, i think he wants more of a bigger sound to play through. Do you think these speakers will have a good sound for karaoke?
My camera will not handle the sound of it lol, the camera mic clips easy. But it puts out plenty, good deal. i wish i would have bought my drumset from musiciansfriend. could of got some money back. i purchase all my music gear from there. but shipping killed me before they started doing the whole free shipping. but i got my dj gear lighting and drumset accessories from them.
Well, unfortunately the shipping wasn't free on the PA set up due to heavy weight. I couldn't quite understand that since their was others with free shipping, and they were just as big, but i did go through big crumbs, and will get back 100.00 for spending in their store, so i think i still saved in the end. i'll let you know once i get it and get it all hooked up, and how it goes.
built in in sub?
