Thanks so much, I grew up to Beatles, John always my musical hero and gawd of singing and writing, I never get tired of new finds, rarities . This is sublime, I miss him fiercely, and as very few ever comment on he had the singular most unique, beautiful, heartbreaking, breathtaking, voice of anyone ever committed to tape...simply the best voice in pop/rock ever, millions can imitate Presley, no one does a spot on John...when I was 8, single after single came out and it was always THAT voice...
Excellent work - Thank you for putting in the time & effort that it must've taken you to research and complete this for the rest of us to enjoy. A tip of the hat to you sir!
Thank you, I hope people understand why the artist should get “some (money) compensation” for the work that goes into many of our favorite music. Yes, compensate the heirs too; they all get something for work someone they may have never known. Might have been despised that is not the point. “Do the right thing” after a hundred years let it (music) go into the “public domain” sounds fair to me
I love the patience of his songwriting. That is so inspiring to a songwriter. And the best thing is it gave us Real Love. I never knew it took him that long to write such a beautiful song. Now it shows.
"Stepping Out", "Grow Old With Me", "I Don't Wanna Face It" and Yoko's "Let Me Count The Ways" were all released in one form or another on the posthumous 1984 Milk and Honey, which was the Double Fantasy follow up. "No One Can See Me Like You Do" was on Yoko's 1981 Season Of Glass LP. Only "Real Love" remained unreleased until 1988's Imagine movie and then the 1995 Beatle version.
Very grateful for this, You know what is very mystic for me "Now and Then" you don't have any more information about this, I know Paul, George and Ringo (plus Jeff Line) worked on it but let it down for a quality concern, do you have something more?
great job!!!! amazing!!! super!!! this looks like an extra in a excellent dvd of John lennon's life; thanks for the final photos!!! never seen'em before
wonsy, this was amazing! I've heard a bunch of these demos from some lennon bootlegs i'm collected (big beatles/lennon fan). however there were some that I didn't hear. Anyway great attention to detail and figuring out how he created two great songs, especially Real Love (one of my fav. Beatles songs). Great job! you should think about doing a Beatles type site like you have for Radiohead :P
Great that there are people who make such good videos. Thank you.
