this is on par with the rat transformation and this is why i loved this game, the monsters were realistically frightening as all mighty hell, altho the ones with mecha in them arent as scary as the ones that are mainly flesh orientated. But yes their monster designs were the most bad ass and the transformation sequences make me tingle. with joy. ♥

FINALLY! Someone who isn't all excited about a horse's cry which has been put down in pitch. I thought I was the only one who didn't care. Many things use low-pitched animal noises for something like a monster or alien. It's not bloody rocket science.

I kind of agree. SNES, MegaDrive, PS1, PS2, Gamecube, N64, Dreamcast, all those consoles. . . the games were better quality. I'm not sure if that makes sense. I do love the Xbox 360 though, and I like the idea of Achievements. I just wish that they'd port games onto XBLA like Parasite Eve 2, Shenmue, Resident Evil Director's Cut (or Rebirth), Resident Evil 2, Silent Hill, and so on..

Its entirely dependent on what your looking for in a game. While games like this were far superior in my opinion to 'Survival Horrors' on the 360 and PS3, FPS games on the older consoles were in dire need of help. And some games, such as Limbo, bring in a new kind of survival horror. I personally think if we could take the gameplay from the old days and mix it with the graphics of now, we could have some truly frightening and gorgeous games on our hands.
