  • okay rape = not cool.

but seriously, you geeds need to lighten the fuck up. this is obviously a joke. please try to take your head out of your liberal ass and understand that.

  • @aximuntean How can you be so sure it's "just a joke"? I think you'd be surprised how often women are raped by friends, boyfriends, husbands.

  • This is why you should punch a rich kid in the face today! :)

  • Lol, nerds chanting about rape. As if they're ever going to touch a vagina at Yale.

  • No does mean yes when you are big enough to take what you want.

  • this a bunch of dudes doing dumb shit, a frat. get over it.

  • Disgusting, absolutely disgusting. Fraternities are one of the worst things about University.

  • Rapists are not fictitious lingering demonic specters, waiting behind dumpsters in an alley in Don't Go There, USA. They are your classmates, fraternity brothers.

These people are rapists. If you applaud this behavior, you are a rapist sympathizer, a fellow comrade.

    A friend of the rapist.

    Are you proud?

Your support, or ambivalence towards, rape cultur proliferates the idea that this is normal. And if you don't think anything is wrong with that, look at yourself in the mirror.

  • @famousjapan I have looked I love what I see.

No means YES. You want it TAKE IT.

Plus rape is a good way of teaching females their place in the world. Teach them they only have rights and a voice when a man allows it.

  • @famousjapan Cool story, bro.

  • I hope those sick fucks were joking.

  • @dplandry - thanks for letting everyone know you are creeper. Ick....

  • This is just sick.

  • frats are soooo gay

  • @Killerbabyseal Homophobes are SO boring... and most likely gay. It's OK... you can come out... but it takes courage to live an authentic life... or you can just be a coward posting homophobic comments on the web, desperately hoping no one catches on to your secret.

  • I didn't realize life was an 80s movie and that people actually did this.

  • Comment removed

  • One more thing thats why bitches join sororities

  • @Tubaman29 You came out of a woman's pussy.

  • Those top two comments are quite disturbing.

  • I've been there. The one saying no while the guy won't get the idea.

Eh, doesn't count though, cause I didn't have any bruises. Or cause I was friends with the guy. Or because I didn't run, scream or fight back. But, yeah who cares, cause I was totally asking for it by laying there whimpering and trying to sleep.

So hey thanks guys for letting me know that I was actually the one asking for it by saying no!

  • @Megraptor perfect example of how "traditional" men are huh? Don't worry though, real men are still out there you just have to weed out the good from the pathetic.

  • @Killerjosh89 I try not to be bitter. I'm trying to forget about it. Thanks for the advice!... But hey, the meds they put me on are good. Cant stop smiling now. XD

  • FUCK YEAH

  • NO MEANS YES, YES MEANS ANAL!

  • this is sick.

  • 198 people said YES.

  • I live by this phrase.

  • Who would put this crap on youtube? What a bunch of asshats.

  • COURAGEWOLF

  • I can't be the only girl who found this funny. People need to lighten up, it's harmless.

  • Hahaha, no means yes, so true!!

  • 193 people are GDIs

  • Speech which has the capability to inflict emotional damage is a candidate for being excluded from protection. Imagine if your sister or mother was a rape victim and had to hear a loud group of men yelling that. The other side is that they have some interest in being able to yell whatever they feel like in public for the purpose of shock value and drunken camaraderie. Which do you think outweighs the other?

  • BONER!!!

  • *sigh*

if only any of you commenters had a clue that these dudes are NOT talking about women.

  • @theshawn1811 well someone is just butthurt they didn't get a bid

  • Women are just acting outraged by all this to hide the fact that they know it's true.

  • No means yes thats fucked up to be telling people to chant. Why does anyone join a frat. Frat boys are douche bags most are closet fags too.

  • Rape isnt funny under any circumstance

  • Comment removed

  • This is epic. Get over it liberals!

  • @dplandry Just because it's what fraternities have always done doesn't make it right. It's wrong. If this is the kind of thing that misogynists complain about losing, this tradition, then I for one am fine with that. Change is good. That's not called feminism either; it's called anti-douchebagism.

  • For Christ sake can people stop being so PC . It's a frat, it's good fun and some people ought to chill. It should be mandatory for americans to spend time in Europe and learn how to be less stuck up and enjoy life...

  • @mangoditreviso

Americans *should* get out and see the world. Just 37% of us own passports. Half are used for travel to Canada or Mexico.

But to say that the U.S. is more "politically correct" than Europe seems counterintuitive. Everybody knows Americans are crude, intellectually stunted morons, right?

"Hate speech" is illegal in most "civilized" nations. Here, it's constitutionally protected! Browse a little through YouTube comments pages. There's something to offend everyone, guaranteed!

  • disturbing ... so much for academics and higher learning --- are they trying to prove something? Interesting that they will only chant this type of obscenity in the dark, where they cant be identified. ---Cowards.

  • Haha. Yale brought down the banhammer!

  • No means yes. Yes mean anal? This is college?

  • What's the big deal? So what if the Dekes just love a good pegging?

When none of their "brothers" are available, sometimes they have to settle for a girl who will strap one on and go for a ride. They don't call 'em Greeks for nothing!

  • it stopped being a joke when they paraded around the women's health center with women inside who were victims of sexual assault perpetuated by this sort of thought process. these 'men' were directly targeting rape victims with a mantra that encourages rape.

  • haha i find this hilarious this is just a joke. none of you haters can get in yale or even afford it anyways

  • @Tubaman29 I hope you're joking. If not, you're awful. You know the man's rib thing is nonsense, right? Interesting punctuation and capitalization as well. You must be highly educated. Did you go to Yale with these jackasses?

  • @Tubaman29 Where would men be without women? Oh yeah that's right NO WHERE!!!!!

  • @Tubaman29 Oh joy, a stupid Christfag.

Go fap to your Bible elsewhere, nobody likes low-IQ-ed subhuman attitude.

  • I just vomited in my mouth...This is what you get for not teaching our children empathy in (American) schools. I hope when these boys (to use a neutral term although I am thinking of much more obscene names to call them) have children they will have matured and will teach their youngsters to respect women (apparently their - the frat boys in this video - parents did not).

  • @Nightweaver1 so said the nerd with the blowup doll...

  • @dplandry bestiality doesn't count...

  • @dplandry is that before or after they fuck each other?

  • @Killerjosh89 Obviously none of the fraternities let you in! Get over the bitterness and try not to let it ruin your life.

  • Comment removed

  • @Killerjosh89 well i've never even wanted to be in one, no interest. Plus I dont need to belong to a club to feel good about myself and my life lol and get plenty of pussy from my girl...so, you're point is?

  • @dplandry It doesn't count when she doesn't consent, you pervert.

  • @anyfreegift No so said the nerd who masturbates to furry porn. Get it right asshole.

  • @Nightweaver1 weak putdown.. but I understand you are busy concentrating on being the caboose in a sausage train.

  • @anyfreegift That sounds delicious! All aboard the sausage train! TOOT TOOT

  • One of these splendid role-model Ivies, ladies and gentlemen! Now let the veil continue to fall, and rightfully so...

  • it was a mob, in the dark, chanting rape threats. How stupid do you have to be to believe that this is about free speech, rather than a deliberate attempt to intimidate a targeted group?

Apparently the only way these obtuse frat-boy-mob defenders would believe that this was a rape threat is if they actually screamed "we are going to rape you." Apparently "no means yes, yes means anal" is just a bit to subtle and nuanced for them.

And you know, boys will be boys.

  • Men who support those frat boys...Just imagine you're a new inmate in a prison cell, and a bunch of muscular, over-6-foot, 300-pound-plus, inmates chanting the same thing right outside your cell...and these other inmates yelling Go men RAPE this newby.

  • @ltlwatcher we won't go to prison in the first place! hahahaha

  • @dcgunner1 that's not the point.

  • @ltlwatcher My comment is just a mockery of your sensitiveness. Get over it!

  • @dcgunner1 you beasts.

  • What sort of mothers brought up these boys? Where we their fathers? They have a beautiful campus and this is how they choose to use it?

Hollywood has a great deal of blame with its stupid Animal House. These people are decadence personified.

  • @elliothaag Yup, isn't that typically how they do. Really, I am in shock and awe. I went to Oberlin and could not imagine something like this happening anywhere near our campus. Not because of a lack of freedom of speech, but a lack of that type of serious ignorance and deep, deep misogyny. This feels like the sort of activity that you get from privileged white men who feel disenfranchised in some ever-so-slight way.

  • Just have a good ol' Yale orgy and all this hype goes away.

  • it's no surprise that shrub went to yale. it is anguishing that that university produces many american legislators and even presidents, most of whom are male. "douchebags" is too kind a word for those repellant, infantile, fucked-up guys

  • Encouraging rape culture and chauvinism... frat boy douchebags are so lovable, aren't they? <_<

  • they have a right to assembly and it is protected under the first and fourteenth amendment rights to say what they please. However, they must adhere to university standards and code of ethics. you pretty much waive a majority of your rights when you accept your admission to any university. rape is never and should never be considered a joke, and I do not condone this type of behavior. The campus can take action but it probably wouldn't be held up in court.

  • cant anybody take a joke anymore!!! get a life people!

  • How can people say things like "Go men at Yale" for chanting in promotion of a violent crime?

  • @NinjaGirlSango not a crime it was a joke

  • @pimpedpope its promoting rape. rape is a crime.

  • @DemonicGman It was not promoting rape. That is like when someone is saying" Hey, I am gonna kill you if you touch my sammich" is promoting murder.

  • Comment removed

  • @pimpedpope you completely missed the point of the comparison and focused on semantics and you call me the idiot.

  • @DemonicGman lol

  • This is interesting!!!! I'm glad to see young men responding to the Feminist's Take Back The Night From Men Rally which was being held during the same time. Men should respond to hostility and denigration of men with hostility and denigration of women. Good job guys.

  • The reason stops, what there are how... boozy guys sing??? Scandal!!! prison for all, in case let them multiply!!!

  • I would use the word "retards" to describe these people, but I do not want to offend the mentally handicapped

  • You have to go into university to be idiot?

  • Clearly they hate human beings in general; as to call them 'gay' would be an insult to the gay community, and clearly they have so much hatred/misogamy towards women they aren't 'straight'.

Clearly their IQ's are equivalent to that of a rock, mommy and daddy should have put their money into therapy sessions, instead of buying them friends via a fraternity. #losers

  • No means yes! Yes means ANAL!!!!

  • So did anyone get disciplined for this at all?

  • @hipster01cg should they? It was not illegal therefore punishing them for an opinion might go against their free speech.

  • @pimpedpope Are you kidding me??? Because of people like them and YOU 1 in 4 women will be raped in their lifetime. There is a difference between promoting freedom of speech and overlooking hateful mysoginistic PUBLIC comments. Saying racial slurs is not illegal either but you wouldn't be ok with it would you? Yet, when women are being objectified and blatantly offended, you don't think it's a big deal.

  • @chichince please see straw man argument

  • I'm not advocating victim blame but any woman that dates one of these cretins, well, honey don't be surprised what happens if you say "no."

  • @IeuanMorgannwg u better watch ur ass cause if i find u i wont take no for an answer

  • This is frightening.

  • proof that attending a college or university doesn't always make you smarter, nor does it make you a better person. If they says yes means anal then i would take that as an invitation to get a strap on.

  • Evidence that the admissions process in north american universities is a complete and utter failure.

  • Check my response to this video.

  • yea this type of dominant homo-social masculinity is soooooo gay these are a bunch of dudes being sexual with eachother THEY DONT LIKE WOMEN they want to FUCK them (in the ass no less) there is a difference its so RAPEY!!! :O. so ur right they might as well be having sex with eachother since they LOVE ANAL sex and their BROtherhood so much

  • Yale, supposedly the 3rd rand university in the U.S. yet the students there behave like that? The future keeps looking bleaker and bleaker....

  • Picture this: if a group of white college boys at an Ivy League school went to dormitories housing African-American students and chanted, for example, "Free means slaves! Equal means 'lynch you' !"

    Imagine the reaction.

But this creates barely a blip on internet news sites.

  • I ticked the Like button. Even though I am disturbed and frightened by this. Because I think this needs to be seen, and seen for what it is - hate.

People need to see that in civilized Western countries where men and women are largely equal and discrimination based on sex differences has supposedly been eradicated, there are people who think like this.

    Sexism is alive and well.

  • Douchebags. No means Yes, Yes means Anal? That's what Bubba's gonna say to these little bitches in prison

  • I lol'd

  • All I hear is HURR DURR.

The monkey cage at the zoo is rather quiet. Perhaps someone left the door open.

  • Ugh. That's sick.

  • @scroonchface Just wait till you see what the girls shout!!

  • Oh for Chrissake...

  • @Swede612

Your troll behavior is stupid. It'd be funnier and harder to pretend to be an actual misandrist.

  • How did yes come to be synonymous with anal???

  • @Swede612

Rape has not been "watered down" and rape is not being used as a political tool.

Not in this instance. People are just pissed off that men are joking about rape.

And even if the rape rates are low in Yale, it doesn't mean that this institutionalized form of misogyny might not contribute to a woman's rape.

  • @Swede612

No. I think joking about rape is turning rape in to a joke. Hence why people are pissed off about this video.

  • @kives1985 It's a joke to me.

  • yale - for rich douchebags who didn't get 1600 in their SATs and thus too stupid to get into Harvard, Columbia or wharton. Keep trying morons..

  • douchebags!!

  • @Swede612 troll.

  • What the fuck though.

  • @Swede612

yeah ok good mindset...1/4 women raped everyday in the U.S. not a big issue?

  • true dat doodz

  • @Swede612

Have a pleasant life, in any case, and thank you for your service (and I do mean that in all honesty)

  • @Swede612

But hey, I've got mulitple bingos (i52.tinypic. com/dop30w.png) so I'm now convinced you're either a troll or just crippingly stupid, so I'm gonna disengage before you waste any more of my time.

You're free to keep thinking men are sooooo oppressed because they don't get to treat women like property anymore, but let's not get indignant when other people call you out on your ignorance, shall we?

  • @Swede612

Idle threats are not action. And no matter the idle threat, if a crime is committed to a person, it needs to be investigated.

  • @glowythelugia don't respond to him, he's just trollin'.

  • @Swede612

(I also don't know why you keep spitting on psychology and then using psychology to support your own argument, but I suppose that's irrelevant in the grander scheme. Just a little frustrating.)

  • @Swede612

Since it won't let me post the link, search "seattle weekly furthers the myth of common false rape allegations". Should be on a site called the curvature. Obscene language aside, it's interesting: false report causes, effects, types of false reports, the implications about rape as a whole, and "dropped case=/=absence of a crime"

I agree that false accusations can ruin a person's life, and I wholeheartedly support methods to seek them out.

  • @glowythelugia

I'm thankful there are groups in place trying to remove blame from the innocent.

At the same time, though, this does not mean the real crimes do not occur or do not merit our attention. Like I said, every report is an individual case that should be treated at face value. In a perfect world we'd be able to tell right away what's really going on. But that sadly isn't the case.

  • @Swede612

Her career has nothing to do with her allegation. That could have been anyone. What was her motive? Not sure, but I'm ticked that she wasted police money and time. I will readily admit this.

  • @Swede612

Are you seriously not paying attention? I am aware of this.

  • @Swede612

I never once made the claim that false reports do not happen, and I never once claimed that it's just to let false reporters off the hook. Did you miss that?

  • @Swede612

You're still not reading what I said.

  • @Swede612

Did you not pay attention to anything I just said?

  • @Swede612

If technology is helping catch false reporters, then good, I hope it helps shed some light on the issue, from multiple angles if possible. We need to be willing to properly use this technology to display innocence or guilt in response to accusations of crime. If it means fewer people are falsely imprisoned, great. If it means more criminals are identified and imprisoned, instead of focusing on victim guilt ("deserving it"), also great. I wouldn't mind such a future.

  • @Swede612

Because you know what that looks like to me? Those Jim Crow laws you were talking about before. "Some people make false reports so why should we even investigate anyone's reports anymore?"

Police policy is *not* a huge spiel of "boy who cried wolf". Every case is different and every case should be investigated at face value.

  • @Swede612

Thanks for sharing? I've already said that not all reports are true, and that if they can be shown to be untrue, the person who accused the other party should be charged with false reporting as is prescribed by law.

Again though: this does not mean all reports are false, and it definitely does not mean police shouldn't take action in response to reports because "oh they're probably lying anyway". That's not how it works.

  • @Swede612

It does hurt real victims and makes them afraid to step forward, not because cases that aren't legitimate are being dismissed, but because cases that *are* legitimate are being dismissed and because the victims are shamed and mocked in court. It trickles down further to police reports themselves;Scotland has one of the worst conviction rates because police simply do not heed reports and blame the victim for their rape, never launching an investigation. These are persistent attitudes.

  • @Swede612

And sometimes women who file a truthful report are arrested for false reporting (Lisa King is an example). If there is proof beyond a reasonable doubt that the accusation was false, then yes, the person who filed the accusation should be charged for it.

Again though, not all dismissed cases mean a rape didn't happen; it means there is not enough evidence to prosecute.

False imprisonment and rape are apples and oranges. Both are awful in their own way.

  • @glowythelugia

"it means there is not enough evidence to prosecute" should read "it can also mean there is not enough evidence to prosecute", my excuses

  • @Swede612

Repeat: An airforce base involving service men is not a representative sample of the overall population. Also consider that only around 30% of rapes (I got my statistics inverted, whoops) are ever reported, period, and in an airforce base involving service men the number may be lower still.

Replace, airforce base with US Airforce, same argument.

  • @Swede612

An airforce base involving service men is not a representative sample of the overall population. Also consider that only around 60% of rapes are ever reported, period, and in an airforce base involving service men the number may be lower still.

  • @Swede612

There may be people who are abusing the system, but this happens with every crime. According to FBI statistics, the percentage of false allegations of rape fluctuates around 2%, on par with most other crimes and below a few others, like car theft.

  • @Swede612

Accusing people who have been raped in their sleep of wanting *money* is low and shallow. They want justice. It's about prosecuting criminals. Unless you can prove somehow that *every* person ever raped in their sleep was lying about it just to get some money and a house, I suggest you do not make absurd assertions like this.

Courtrooms belong in the bedroom if that is where rapes are happening.

  • @Swede612

And you know this is true because...?

She asked for a fair settlement and minimal disruption to her family life and the life of her sons. She received no house, instead finally moving in with friends once she was no longer attached to her husband. She had her name removed from the book she co-authored with her husband and the Christian community sided with her husband, the rapist.

  • @Swede612

Regardless, you're again missing the point. I asked whether or not having sex with a sleeping person is, in your eyes, rape (it is in the eyes of the law, by the way).

  • @Swede612

The government paid nothing, because he did not go to prison, because his wife did not prosecute him.

She got no monetary reimbursement at all from this. She simply put it out there that he had raped her repeatedly, because he was at that time a practicing gyne and FDA member.

  • @Swede612

(her mother was dying of cancer, by the way, and had moved in with *them*, so there was no refuge in hiding with her parents)
