  • this is the same thing they did to the afro-american in america that destroyed the BLACK family the women became indepent an started to look down on the MAN an not appreciate him from jobs created by the government

  • @dellinj in my country, many men behave as if they were gods for providing woman (if she leaves work&has children) they start to disrespect the woman & behave as if it was them doing all the "work", while they have no respect for the mother of their child & for her own contribution. women are becoming independent cuz they do NOT NEED a SUCH a man who'd to spoil their life. man is the head of family and wife should respect him, but he should LOVE her first! women NEED loving men, not SELFISH men.

  • This is exactly how women started getting their rights and equal status in western society. Men needed them to work. They went to the factories not because they wanted to but because their country, their families NEEDED them to. From there women became more confident in their abilities to manage house and home and began to demand more rights. It took baby steps and strong working women to change society. And I guess it's better that a bad economy forces women into work instead of a world war...

  • @ddpl365 Nicely said, that's the way I view things as well. They're starting their journey, just like we started our progress.

  • @Espio872 It is not just ''progress''.It is probably a means of breaking thier culture. There is a reason the UN only gives small business loans to women in Africa. The role of the male in society must be broken in order to bring in... ''changes''.

  • @lipoicacid Women gaining financial independence, jobs etc isn't progress? A society is made up of men and women, so why would I support a "male society" or a "female society", no gender should have hegemonic dominance over the other. I don't believe in meddling in the affairs of other nations or their cultures but I'm certainly not going to be up in arms over moving towards a just and more inclusive society. I could see if violence and war was used to change things, but that's not the case here

  • @Espio872 Movement in any direction is progress to someone. The question is what is the driving force and what is it's true motive.I recommend you start with ''The Next Million Years'' by Charles Galton Darwin. The original is quite expensive. You may want to try Scribd for the ''free'' version.
