Love this video. Started my technology consulting/education business with $1,500.00 two years ago on the side and by utilizing tools like you tube and offline networking, I've been turning a consistent monthly income. Hopefully within the next year or so, I will probably replace my current job's paycheck.
I agree 100%. You can generate money with little to no money invest. Its called thinking outside the box. Examples: I've sold 80 cardboard boxes my jobs was going to throw away for $40. I've sold 4 big blocks of styrofoam for $40. Trash to cash people. If you have an android phone, you can make money flipping books. I avg between $50 to $150 a week before everyone caught on. The money I generate gets reinvested to generate more money.
@pthustle What is flipping books? E-books? Rolling money back into making more money. That is so key. DONT go out and celebrate your profit by spending it. Protect it and let it grow. Good idea.
lol. I saw that comment and thought you might have something to say. I thought it was a bit pretentious for that individual to assume you had started with a lot of money. I think that mentality is kind of sad and self defeating. That its impossible for someone to work their way to success.
You are 100% Right. Start where you.....REAL TALK. It took me so long to start working self employed, as I kept seeing all the bariers, so I decided to start where I am. I cannot believe the amount of bookings that I got in the last wek alone...... It did not cost me anything but a bus pass and some stationary...
I was talking with a woman about starting a business together but I bailed. You want to know why? Her ideas were to grand from the start. She wanted five thousand dollars from each of us just to get going. I said to myself, THERE HAS GOT TO BE A BETTER WAY.
Paul Smith, the multimillionaire, world famous British fashion designer whose shops can be found from Los Vegas to Tokyo, built his global empire without borrowing a penny. He opened his first shop in London with his own savings and waited until he could afford to expand before opening another.
Today his business is worth hundreds of millions and moreover, it has no non-current debts.
Lesson: Customer service while maintiaing my own growth. Sometimes I want to tell my clients to fuck off. But they are the gravy in the engine. So how dumb would that be!!
great video... i actually want to own a nightclub ... so in order to gain the money to start it i rent out lodges and american legions and throw b.y.o.b parties
Starting from scratch is the name of the game, because it takes you through a learning process, you might fail and fail and fail and fail at some point you will
succeed and you will make it.
I made it against all odds, I made it without a green card, without a bank account,
without credit, without family help, without even hard work, all you need is your
brain , an open eye , and real desire to succeed, this America, just look around
I like it...definately start small, if you can't make you business model function with $300. start-up seed then it definately won't function with $30,000.
I won't go into my secret business model I used when I was laid-off....but I purchased on E-Bay "low-peak-in bulk- rare items" and sold on E-Bay "high-peak viewing-singular-those same rare items".....offering the next person "value". I basically hunted E-Bay for hidden items of unseen value and brought their value to the forefront.
I've only started august 2010. I had 2 grand from some camera equipment I sold to get started. Antiques and then garage sale stuff. Now I don't do garage sale stuff and I just order my products and they show up on my doorstep. No one gave me any money. As far as lessons learned? There are about a million of them.
Thank you bro im just starting my business and im starting small i agree with every thing you just said im having a little rough time right now that really motivated me thanks again.

@Pullingmyselfup check out the app bookscouter for the android phone.
You will need 3 things
1. Place that sells books cheap.
2 Android phone
3. Time
The rest you will have to figure out.
I don't do it anymore because I found quicker ways of making money. This would be great for a beginner wanting to generate money for investment.
