GSP looked great in this fight. Spectacular balance during takedown defense, in particular. And, unlike so many MMA jerks, he also seems like a good guy. Hopefully that Serra loss in the long run will have been a positive thing (adversity makes champions).

The vid of Hughs and Sherk laughing at GSP when he was beat by Serra is pathetic. I hope GSP gets to fight Hughs again so he can get knockd the fk out again. I dont think Sherk remembered that GSP broke his nose when they met. I wonder if GSP knows about that clip and what he thinks about.

GSP looked great in this fight. Spectacular balance during takedown defense, in particular. And, unlike so many MMA jerks, he also seems like a good guy. Hopefully that Serra loss in the long run will have been a positive thing (adversity makes champions).

Well I know Serra disrespects Hughes, but I think that's ok cuz Hughes is a prick. Did you see Hughes ham it up to the camera when GSP lost? Serra has big respect for GSP though. Even after Serra won the title from GSP, Serra still said that GSP is still the future of MMA.

i was a sherk fan till i heard about his steroids that pisses me off. What did they ever do about that outcome? i'd like to see them strip his title and the previous contenders fight for belt who would laugh then,lol. but to a fighter that doesnt like pierre it was a laughable loss cause theres just no way the fight should have went like that.

ya pretty messed up both those guys were on steroids. did you see the hammil bisping fight i put 500 on bisping to win 200 and got lucky the judges were bought off cause hammil dominated that fight and bisping was almost running away the whole fight at the end he was so suprised they gave him the decision then he got cocky and said hammil should stick to wrestling. that was an obvious win for hammil but hey i won 200.

dude watch that fight again without commentary from joe rogan and the other guy/Watch it without sound and you will see that bisping was the better all round fighter.Seriously i thought hamill had just won that fight but then i watched it again a few more times and bisping outworked hamill totaly.If there was 4 rounds instead of 3 bisping would have knocked hamill out because hamill was gasses out bigtime he could barely lift his hands up at the end

bisping lost the first 2 rounds for sure hammil got a few takedowns and definitely outboxed him. 3 round was close i kind of thought bisping might have won that round i could only see losing my 500 bucks and bisping getting dominated i think bisping had a terrible performance. matt took him down at will and could have kicked his ass easy but hes apparently stupid but not dumb only deaf. its easier to run away than stalk someone down bisping was way to cocky after

lol dumbass i just finished watching it muted it looked to me like bisping took the 2nd round and the 3rd round was really close i still think hammil won cecil peoples always is giving outrageous scores! so you pull the amercian card on me,lol that only means your biased. i bet 500 on bisping luckily the judges made a mistake in my favor. bisping was taken down with every one of his kicks and knees till 3rd round. matt is just new he will next meeting of bisping.

possibly because people from uk aren't intelligent enough for internet usage! the judging of the fight was bad. but bisping really showed himself to be a smart ass he came very close to losing. rogan was right though he should think about dropping his weight class he was definitely not impressive in that fight. elvis nearly beat bisping last fight and hes nothing special next time im betting against bisping because hes going on a losing streak soon.

Yeah it really messed up with their ego that GSP is a much better wrestler then them (as he outwrestled them), without the official credentials (I.E championships). But he trains with the canadian olympic team.

I totally agree. People love to put an emphasis on championships because it's impressive. In GSP's case, it shows what the difference of caliber is between college wrestling and Olympic caliber wrestling. It's like the difference between a black belt and a purple belt. GSP's only been training with the canadian team and look at him.

yeah that true.Ive been a fan of gsp since his very first fight me and my dad were blow away when we seen him in action because he was fighting like a true martial artist throwing allot of fast high kicks and elbows and he was good on the ground.Now he is a very good wrestler,very good on his feet,awesome takedown defence,great jujitsu,speed and knockout power in both hands and feet.He is also seems to be a very nice guy and i hope he gets the belt back he is a great role model for a champion.

GSP says he wants Serra to win, but he is hoping for a Hughes win, he already beat him one decisively and was dominating the first fight they had. he knows he can beat Hughes, Serra in the other hand... don't underestimate him, he's gotten were he is for a reason, respect that.

hes gotten where hes at because he proved himself to be the best out of the worse on a reality show and got fast tracked to a title where he got UNBELIEVABLY lucky. dont get me wrong, hes a very good fighter other wise he wouldnt be in the ufc but no hes not champion material. he got the belt on a fluke. serra wont beat matt hughes baring another miracle and the chances he beat gsp again are slim

I think now GSP is at the top of his game. Physically he is more massive than ever and he showed metal toughness bouncing back from the Serra fight. His workout regimen is insane. I hope he remains humble.
