Thank you for making these it reminds me of home I'm from Northwest Iowa and my brother and I constantly go there during the summer for fun I think Minneapolis has the most well proportioned skyline than any other skyline. Not only that but it is very clean and the buildings having plenty of height and glassy looks just makes it even better. I think it will be a future stack city since it's like the major city up in the northern midwest. It's one of the best. Slowly but surely.
@mudfroggie No problem! My old 35W north vid covers the construction from a few years ago. I also have an eastbound 62 vid I did last winter but its pretty much the same route. And yes that was the ramp from WB62.
288 Million for all that they are doing isn't much at all. As I was driving through it I was thinking that it must cost at least 600 million. But MNdot is really efficient. If it were California it would cost over a billion easily.
wow 3 lanes for 200000 vehicles daily?! In Munich there are 8 lanes (each direction 4 lanes) for up to 185000 vehicles; but look like it works also with 3 lanes.

The crosstown has just opened today (Nov.1). Will you do another video of the crosstown with it done?

@techman224 Yep. It'll be my next project.

Thanks for filling my request...finally got around to watching. Is this the only Crosstown Commons video you've done?
Around 1:30, the ramp that comes in from the left...guessing that was a temporary ramp from WB 62 to NB 35W.

That project looks like it will be pretty cool when finished, enjoyed the ride!

That's some serious eyecandy once it's finished. They don't seem to cut back on the aesthetic side.

@eluko79
If I-75/85 were six lanes through Downtown Atlanta, life would be miserable driving through it. :-(

200,000 vehicles per day/6 lanes = borderline nightmarish traffic during peak hours, and congestion throughout much of the rest of the working day.

@danie123182: Very true. The replacement bridge of the eastern span of the Bay Bridge is the ultimate boondoggle, nearly $7 billion dollars!

Nice one there, Luke. Those narrow freeways up there are something else, ain't they?
