O QUARTETO is a brazilian vocal group from Sao Paulo created in the '70s . His musical line was a mix of bossa nova and progressive jazz. This ANTOLOGIA DA BOSSA NOVA (Bossa Nova Anthology) was arranged by two members of the group and the instrumental arrangement conception was by the Sao Paulo-born arranger Cesar Mariano (well known here by 'Cesar Camargo Mariano'). Cesar was Elis Regina's husband and musical director.
