I think they tried it once bak in 2007 and it got really bad ratings BUT for wot i heard they put it on a really bad not very watched channel and they put the first episode on the same time as so big footy match so no wonder it didnt get many viewers.
Wish they would rethink this and put it on again on a new channel!
this show keeps getting better and better every season and every episode. i love it. it truly portrays a small town, with a heart for friday night lights :)

Man this season has been off the hook... I'm so damn happy this show returned. It's easily the best show out right now that no one knows about except its faithful fans... Yeah I'm gonna miss Smash too...
at the end of the 2nd and start of the 3rd we saw what Smash was all about..not the arrogant RB that we saw earlier,but played football to help hes family,and how much he loved the Panthers, great character!
