how often is fibrodysplasia misdiagnosed? my dad told me the doctors says he has it. he just told me yesterday, and he just found out this week. is it pretty sure that he has it, or is misdiagnoses common?
From what I've read, diagnosis of the disease is made relatively early in the sufferer's life. How old is your father? Are his large toes deformed? Deformity of the large toes are the most prominent tell tale signs of FOP sufferers at an early age.
