" goes to the Red alert 3 Shortcut >right click > shortcut tab> and under the "target" field you will have something like this : "C:Program Files (x86)Electronic ArtsRed Alert 3RA3.exe"

to launch your 1.0 version add this after the brackets -runver 1.0

and it will look like this: "C:Program Files (x86)Electronic ArtsRed Alert 3RA3.exe" -runver 1.0 "

Um.. I've got the game on two laptops in the same network, both patched to version 1.04 with the Coop utility, however when we try to play a match we don't play the same team, we don't see an ally at all and there is no retaliating opponent. What are we doing wrong?

Hie , My guess is you or on a 1.12 version of the game, Its works quite different from the 1.04 version

I am not sure if you can downgrade, when did u get this game???

If you are using 1.12 version then there is another way you guys can play online, but the method here shown applies to version 1.04 only

Remove everything re install the game and when you load the game start searching below,up, left or right corner for version number

@VonUchiha12 Btw Nfo FIles are usually read me files. You probably dont have this. The file ends with the ext .NFO and can be opened with text reader , word or notepad.

works fine, dont say it doesnt, it will be your mistake if something went wrong check all the points and look for something you might have done wrong. Because i had dark landscape and stuff, did as in desciption, checked, and worked perfectly.

So, my solution for the "black earth" problem is the following one:

1. Download the 1.04 crack from piratebay (the demonoid edition<-VERY IMPORTANT) - it contains not only the crack but Coop loader and patch

2. Patch the game to 1.04

3. Copy Lan Coop Loader contents to main dir.

4. Copy 1.04 crack contents to main dir

5. Run RA3Coop.exe and enjoy it! :D

P.S.: As I can see Tunngle is not needed in Coop lan games. For me it works without it.

@gamedexterity You are right. When I wrote "Coop lan games" I thought for games "within doors", so when you know who you want to play with. But in these cases that you mentioned, tunngle is definitely great, but to tell to truth I'm not in it. And my post focused on the problem with annoying black textures. My p.s. was just an opinion, and the main message of it was only that: it is possible to play lan without tunngle. But maybe I expressed myself in a wrong way.

@jonyiify Clarification accepted. Actually, all the tutorials I have that involve tunngle and LAN gaming...tunngle is very optional. It's just that I get so many gamers asking me to play that I have to put my foot down and tell them to find gamers just like themselves in the tunngle program for that gaming fix. If you are playing LAN games within doors, then that is the best, but when you got no one around, then online gaming with these VPN programs (any one) is a good substitute. - Versatile

Hey homie! in other pc, I do that, but then, when my game launch with the loader, the game asks me for a serial, and it show me that I have already set, and asks me if I want to use it or not (accept or cancel), I give him yes, and I back out the same error, as if the serial was bad, and I try to replace it too and nothing.. the strange is that when I play without the loader, the error does not come and I play normaly..

I have Windows 7 too..

Because when you play, you have to do it in 1.0 version, and in normal, if you have the 1.5 -> 1.12, fixes several bugs, as well as errors of this type, improves the AI of the computer and some units too (more speed, more powerful shooting, between other things, check out the txt of the patch).

@gamedexterity I know how to help - The black map floor is a bug that actually glitches on versions from 1.00 to 1.03. Upgrade to 1.04 or just download the Demonoid patch. You can find it in a torrent site , also its better to use the Server Emulator. It has TeknoGods lobbies and you need version 1.12 instead of wondering which version is the other guy. Hope i helped ;)

Me and my mate tried this ages ago. Works fine, but unfortunately you can only play on medium hardness setting. Which makes the game unplayable, because even hard setting is way too easy. If they could fix that, it would be awesome.
