I had readig done over the telephone, in a different country than my mother died, the medium on the other side didnt even know how I look like or my last name. I don't believe or indulge in fortune telling and have never gone to a psychic, but I met Rosemary about 10 years ago at a recording session. There was no way that she could have known anything about my life. Yet, she stopped mid-recording and "saw" a man standing behind me. She told me many things about my deceased father and also information about my old house that I was repairing at the time. Also... money. There's TONS of money to be made conning believers. There are plenty of people who are outright con artists, some of them are "psychics". Why has are psychics so vague? Why has a psychic never won the lottery? People need to get out of this fantasy world. Do they really believe this stuff. There is NO evidence to support psychic phenomena. Any evidence is shaky at best and not properly tested. I have noticed that this sort of cold reading is powerful. In fact, cold reads help me pick up women. That is because people love to be told things about themselves. For whatever reason it is powerful.
Psychics engage in cold reading; you ask questions and get information and you use that information to fabricate what the listener wants to hear. Ever notice that psychics ask a shitload of questions? And they always look to the person for confirmation? That's how they know that they are on the right track.
There is a medium I've seen who accurately and repeatedly described deceased people for a number of my friends without any prior conversation with them at all. In one instance, my friend and I turned up late. I had ordered her ticket over the internet and he could give her very specific information, some of which she had to later verify herself.
I totally agree that these people are total scum, but it takes two to tango. They could not exist if it were not for gullible people so desperate to believe. Like Bernard Madoff - he was total scum but the people he conned out of their life inheritances were simply greedy - expecting stratospheric profits on their lofty investments. If the stipulations are nearly impossible to fulfill it is the applicant´s fault since they have agreed to them in advance. 4. Claims and reports on pseudoscientific journals and websites by pseudoscientists cannot be counted as scientific proof. The same goes for studies conducted by biased and bogus institutes.
5. YOU, my friend, have claimed at one time or another that UFOs are real, that psychics are real, that telekinesis, ESP and OBE are real, and that astrology and dowsing works. Or have you forgotten by now? Yet, so far, you have still not provided a single credible evidence to support these claims, basing them only on personal beliefs and anecdotical evidence.

I had readig done over the telephone, in a different country than my mother died, the medium on the other side didnt even know how I look like or my last name. She got my dead mother spot on and I am never going to give up psychic readings, because there is such thing as life after life you just need your own experience.. This video IS Bullshit! I've personally experienced a reading by R.A, and I can confirm she is the real deal. NOBODY spoke to us prior and we were chosen at random out of abt. 1000 people. As skeptics, we did not to give out any info that would "help" her fish around - nor did she try. Her reading was spot on and she is no fraud. Psychics engage in cold reading; you ask questions and get information and you use that information to fabricate what the listener wants to hear. There is a medium I've seen who accurately and repeatedly described deceased people for a number of my friends without any prior conversation with them at all. In one instance, my friend and I turned up late. I had ordered her ticket over the internet and he could give her very specific information, some of which she had to later verify herself.

COLD READING (also a book by Ian Rowland I recommend you read it if you believe in this) If only people did research. Look at the origins, no one hundreds of years ago claimed to speak to the dead! 7. I am not a debunker. I am a skeptic. I just don´t take for granted wild claims. I need concrete evidence as proof. What´s wrong with that? If and when contact with extra-terrestrial intelligence is made, I will be the first to be ecstatic about it. I sincerely hope it happens in my lifetime. SRI is not the only scientific institute in the world.
As to the Daily Grail article, referring to a paranormal phenomenon on a website devoted to advancing pseudoscience proves absolutely nothing. If I wanted to demonstrate to you how bad Ronald Reagan was by pointing you towards a site written by Nicaraguan Socialists, you'd probably take me up on that (besides, I think the Contras killed most of them).
Also, Parapsycologists are not unbiased scientists. They have an agenda other than truth.

By "Article", I'm pretty sure Ebrobaru did not mean a biased two bit piece of "journalism". Considering we're talking about scientific matters, the assumption you should have made was that was speaking of an article in a scientific journal, or from a well sourced, impartial and established news service, such as Reuters.
In any case, you cannot prove a skeptic wrong when the thing they are skeptical about is, from the claims of those who exibit these so-called "powers", inherently unproveable.

We have been shown that a colleague of hers allowed people she knows to come to the event. We have been shown RA asked the young man who he wanted to speak to. Neither of these say the message she gave these folks wasn't true.
Come to her event in October in Rutland , VT and see for yourself. Read her books. Actual first hand knowledge and gathering more information will answer your skeptical question. (Books in the Library are free so it won't cost you a thing)

I've been to many of Rosemary Altea's events. I will go to many more because I have seen first hand the shock, relief then peace that comes with getting a message from her on hundreds of seekers faces. They know she is real.
