In Creem magazine, in the late-'70s/early-'80s, Chrissie referred to herself as "an old dog." She SO NOT A DOG. And she was FAR from old back then. Back then, her trademark was carrying a hairbrush about with her.

right...there was maybe 200 people there, the stage was about four feet off the floor. There were a couple of people in front of me with very British accents saying "can you believe they have to play here"...the show was amazing, but later shows were much better.

This is the first time I've heard this song since first hearing it at the West Point concert. She had the best intro to a song I've ever seen. She borrowed a cadet's hat to wear on stage. She started talking about how much she liked her new hat--implying she was going to keep it. Then alluding to the problem he would have returning to the barracks without it, she said something like: so I guess I should give it back to you because... bad boys get spanked...(launches into the song).

Chrissie was the first woman who could get away with saying things like 'Shit on that!' without controversy. She was every teenage girl's heroine ! Saw her at Lilith Fair a few years ago, though...not the same band (obviously) or style at all. Bring back Pete and James!
