@muscularteeth91 From time to time, it also depends on your hard drive RPM (5400 vs. 7200). Are you performing heavy tasks?

@muscularteeth91 Hey there, just thought I'd mention to you so that your not worried, the macbook pro is designed to transfer heat through the aluminum to another object in order to cool the system. If it's hot it's good. Mine gets so hot in burns to have it on my lap lol.

@muscularteeth91 I have this laptop too!!! You guys should download the app called SMC fan control from google and when your computer gets hot just turn the fan speed up and your computer will stay cool!! It works really well for me just a suggestion

@ElectronicOverdoser hyper threading is only available on specific i7 models, while turboboost could possibly be installed on your processor if it was specified, but you would have to look on you config. i highly doubt it though

Looks like the edge near your wrists is as sharp as on this 2-year-old mbp I'm using now. Sexy design, but sharp enough to slit my wrists if I ever feel suicidal. Who's the ergonomic engineer at Apple that lets this feature get thru to manufacturing?
