@beefmong I know Heenan was ringside. I just prefer his commentary to Shaun Mooney's during this match. I like Lord Alfred Hayes, but to be honest I don't really remember Shaun Mooney, and he just sounds bored most of the match. One of the reasons I always love Mr. Perfect, aside from being a great wrestler and being able to sell better than just about anyone, was that he was mean, arrogant, and fought dirty. They barely said peep about using the ropes for leverage, hair-pulling, etc.

And yes I know Heenan is at ringside like you said, but what about Jesse? This must've been RIGHT after he left the company. As he got fired right before SummerSlam. Ventura was a LEGENDARY color commentator though.

I think that currently WWE is killing his legacy by misusing his son the way they are. They should let him be Joe Hennig, maybe with a nickname like "The Perfect Son" or just "Perfect" Joe Hennig and let him pay tribute to his father. His FCW stuff was exactly like his dad and was highly enjoyable to watch, but now he's gone stale and it sucks
@beefmong To be honest I don't even watch anymore, man. I love this old stuff, so I go back and check it out every now and then. It's hard for me to pinpoint exactly what's lacking in wrestling today, but I'm not digging it. I miss the comedy of it I guess, but I appreciate the older stuff too, when they weren't wearing funky suits, or carrying snakes/ 2x4's, etc. It seems like it's mostly drama now. It's a full blown soap opera if it ever was. Feuds are great, but wrestling has lost something.

I don't know if there's the greatest wrestler of all times, but I would say the best wrestlers of the early 90's were Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, Jake Roberts, Mr. Perfect and Undertaker. Then, but not less important, Lex Luger, Shawn Michaels, Andre the Giant, Earthquake, Sgt. Slaughter, Randy Savage, Big Bossman,.......it's a very long list!!!!

Although he never been WWF Champion or Intercontinental Champion, he was one of the most popular wrestlers as well as hated especially in his battles with Savage in 1991.
What an amazing technical, scientific wrestling match. I enjoyed this one thoroughly. These two guys should have worked together more often. Their chemistry and psychology in that ring were the very best. Thanks for this amazing upload. Thumbs up.
