Well if use 12 volt to provide this mush power // would be 7200 amp battery
plus more power for power lose 12 to 18% / That means 8280 amps at 15% loss How ever i like 12 volt // even with power loss // because of easy of replace meant / and easy of hitting voltage // 12 v with wind or solar / HERE,S A ANOTHER THING KEEP IN MIND / IF THERE'S / ANY WORLD ISSUES // WAR ,// DISASTER / EMBARGOES / 12 VOLT IS EASIER TO ACQUIRE / CHARGE
Thanks. Awesome batteries . With a great warranty 2... Way to extreme for me...What's a decidng factor going with 12/24/48 volt solar panels..? Limited space? I'm kinda leaning towards 24 vdc Appliances and 24 vdc led lighting..to avoid power loss through inverter... What do you think? PS- Great Videos. It's hard getting educated on solar.. off grid etc.
@wussyP i checked your website and saw that it was in st. kitts which was my first guess since the view in the back ground did infact look like nevis from sk. i must check out that system the next time im in sk.
It would vary for different situations depending on the need for ENERGY. This powercenter will produce around 12 kW of POWER from the batteries. The amount of ENERGY (kWh) the system can provide any given day is dependent on the charging POWER of the PV array and the length of time the sun is shining on it (local solar resource) a powersystem this size could have between 2kW and 20kW of PV panels, depending on the daily energy budget of the system, as required.
Well presented and very nice system

Any chance for a follow up on how this has worked for them?

What kind of batteries does this use
jtgoodwrench 9 months ago
@jtgoodwrench That system used sealed Absolyte batteries, approx 1800 Amp-hours at 48VDC

Which Caribbean island was it installed in? If i'm properly estimating the angle of the pv panels i would guess somewhere in the Bahamas.

Its truly an awesome sight seeing the big boy panel. Check my vid on the flex 500 2 inverter. Those guys in the Caribbean will be very happy!

What does such a rig cost; and how much for the medium duty off-grid house version? Thanks...
