Great video. also have two SC2000 which i use with VDJ. I, however want to go back to using SSL. Can you send me the xml file at paige.mebaby@hotmail.com
Awesome video. I have two Denon DN-SC2000 that I use with Traktor Pro and Virtual DJ. But I always wanted to use Serato because I have many friends that use Serato Scratch Live. Do you think I will be able to use BOTH of my DN-SC2000s? I will message you my e-mail to get the mapper from you. Thanks in advance.
Just wondering when you plug it in with serato that it is already midi mapped or do I have to manually midi map it to the controller or do I need to also input code to make it work? In the end is it a plug and play controller with serato? Thanks
mapped would have been a better choice of words..... Itch is HID control the sc and mc is midi. Look at the S4 thats in HID.Your term "glitchy” I need to understand. The sc is just buttons in a box. Cue points work, sampler button, browser.
I know the platter control is not Itch quality but it works. Good enough to straight dj with. I can do stabs, pullbacks, helicopters.
I know in traktor the platter control is the same. The S4 platter is better
@djBroRay i couldn't see which functions the controller for pitch bends or speeding it up and retarding. What Midi Function do you assign that to in Serato? You know if you need to speed or slow the track down for mixing? I believe the top platter and the side jog wheel function separately and have to different midi signals? If so, which function do you assign it to in Serato? Just the pitch bend? Thanks!
I think "optimized" for scratchlive is stretching things a bit. It does work with Serato but the mapping is a bit glitchy. The platter control is not as accurate as the itch controllers that are out. If you really need to use this or the 6000 with Scratchlive then it will work but not really the greatest solution.
