What PS3 does have is MAG, and that's going to be one of the top shooters coming out in the near future.

I'm considering playing APB on PC too for the persistent world along with constant conflict between two factions, and the competitive nature that it will surely bring.

It also helps that APB won't require a monthly subscription to play and any extra fees will be for content we know about in advance. I always hated the thought of continuously paying to play a game that I've already bought.

It really comes down to what you prefer. PC has better eye appeal and has the option of modding just about any game nowadays - leading to extensive game play. However, if you want to just jump in and play--paying no heed to graphics or more,in-depth options--then console is probably your best bet.

Next-gen console basically is just a mini-computer that's built to have severely limited customization so that there's less risk of hacking and other abuses that those privileges can sometimes bring.

Except consoles don't do all the same things and have much less capabilities. I'm not saying that's a bad thing since consoles are designed to be gaming rigs with DVD or Blue Ray players; whereas computers are meant for multi-tasking and have more customization at the cost of higher maintenance.

I hear ya though, it is more convenient to buy a console nowadays and the graphics are agreeable with an HDMI cable - I have a PS3 in full HD myself.

I just prefer certain game types on PC,vice versa.

Two, we enjoy better graphics in every sense of the word from texture resolution to anti-aliasing. I could go on, but hopefully you get the point. A $300 console does some of those things, and some of them decently, but nothing compared to a true gaming PC.

@emofittlisa Did you build your own PC? If you didn't, yeah there's a million things that can go wrong if you're not completely savvy and know exactly what you're doing. I've never had a problem out of any of the PCs I've built because I know how to troubleshoot any problem that could arise, and when a problem does arise, 99% of the time it's because I did something incorrectly or overlooked something. The Xbox 360 was manufactured faulty from the start.
