  • What's amazing is that, unlike most other live steam railways, this one is actually used for business! I read an article about this line several years ago. Would love to come up for a visit!

  • i only knew this was in england because of the sound of the railway crassing bells at 6:03

  • i always have and always will love trains i have just put my work letter into adelaide metro to drive there diesel trains

  • @awesome54331 Thanks for both your comments

  • Very nice.

  • this is so cool! we have nothing like this here in in Ontario.

How fast do these trains go? What is the normal top operating speed? I know the railway operates in the winter time but do the steam engines operate in the winter?

  • @JohnUnit I looked on their website and they are all designed to run safe at 25 miles per hour on their 15 inch gauge rails.

Any other details I can not help you with. Their website only mentions three months (Feb, March & April) of operation but, I am sure they will add more details once, the new fiscal year starts in April.

  • as narrow as narrow gauge gets? Georgous

  • @sirhcsteam Steam she's Beautiful!!!. would u happen to know what Gauge is she,and how much would she cost???.

  • @myleftnutts The railway itself is 15 inch gauge

  • @sirhcsteam I really would like to see Typhoon and the other engines. Maybe?

  • That's so amazing! I'm going to visit it someday!!

  • @RandomPoseidon01 Do visit it is so awesome and Dungeoness is brilliant. The Cafe and lighthouse are both amazing.
