British soldiers have died in Iraq because they don't have enough protective equipment. Some of them have actually had to buy essential kit out of their own money because our dumb government can't or won't supply it. You're right, as long their not French their OK! The B52 pilot was apparently well known as a reckless pilot and people flying with him had voiced concerns about him joyriding which were ignored. Don't know about commercial pilots, but the British military are widely recognised as the poorest equipped but the best trained, and the Americans as the best equipped but the worst trained. This may explain some of these crashes.
It's not my opinion, it's the opinion of many people in service I've spoken to. Pilots flying too low and cutting down cable cars in the Alps? B52 pilot acting the asshole and killing everyone on board? How many servicemen have been killed by US "friendly fire"? Doesn't sound like good training to me. Sounds more like poorly trained men not controlling themselves. Good training teaches control.

The B52 pilot was apparently well known as a reckless pilot and people flying with him had voiced concerns about him joyriding which were ignored. Don't know about commercial pilots, but the British military are widely recognised as the poorest equipped but the best trained, and the Americans as the best equipped but the worst trained. This may explain some of these crashes.

It's not my opinion, it's the opinion of many people in service I've spoken to. Pilots flying too low and cutting down cable cars in the Alps? B52 pilot acting the asshole and killing everyone on board? How many servicemen have been killed by US "friendly fire"? Doesn't sound like good training to me. Sounds more like poorly trained men not controlling themselves. Good training teaches control.
