The Repower 5M isnt even in serial production, besides its a highwind turbine, whereas Vestas (V90 + v112)and Siemens (2.3MW + 3.6MW) are targetting both High, medium and low wind, see the point?

thormj, vestas and Siemens only erect 3mw offshore, these repower ones are 5mw. Vestas have gone bust anyway.

Yea, no wake. The most turbulent part of the "backwash" is at the tips of the blades where wake vortex can form.

Um.. what wake? Wind turbines are powered by the wind. They don't create wind, they use it.

This platform is not a landing platform or a Helicopterdeck. Its only possible to rescue persons by pick them up with a Safety harnest and a robe via the Helicopter.
