@burnzshot not true....either that or i accedentally shot her with my daedric bow.......but she died for me and i couldnt find her corpes....pissed me off cuz the have 7 of my 9 blades swords and they dont respawn.... ffs

@11rbingham when they die they will usually be transported to a crypt in one of the towns. I'm guessing its wherever you can hire them, not sure. Just know I found Ugherd in the Whiterun crypt in a coffin with everything I left on her corpse
