Ha. I listened to KY102 and 106.5 (can't remember the call letters) growing up in KC. Where were they playing that it only cost $1.02? I saw them open for Sammy Hagar at Kemper in 1984. I don't remember them really standing out.

@artheriford Their first show was at the Uptown Theatre as a promo- FREE! For the "Hardware" tour. The second time here was for, "One Vice At A Time" at the Uptown for $1.02 and the 3rd time I saw them was for "Headhunter" opening for Hagar .

Good old Uptown....I remember having to sit in the balcony because alcohol was served on the floor at the tables and I wasn't 21 yet. Loudest show I ever saw was at the Uptown.....Foghat in 1984. By the way the call letters for 106.5 was KKCI.......I had to really dig to find it. Cheers.

@artheriford Great shows there ! I saw Thin Lizzy headline, Sept. 23rd 1978 w/ opening acts AC/DC ( Bon) and The Dictators. Top 5 fave show ever.

Too bad we all age. Can you imagine Krokus putting out music that kicked like this and performing like that. So Raw! They still rock. Just the good old days coming to mind.
