@kingfarticus i heard its not much faster and the turbo gives problems at 220000 miles, ive haven't taken this car to any mechanic for the last 11 years lol (which was the 100k tune up)
Haha, if it takes 222000 miles for an engine to give you problems I think that's a good thing! I know lots of old Volvos run forever but naturally a turbo engine is bound to have more problems than a non turbo. The truth is, these cars have a lot of good qualities even though they are boxy looking and slow. There aren't many new cars that will last this long-new Volvos, forget it you lease them for a few years and then you want nothing to do with them quality isnt the same.
mine was a 91 940 gle with the 16 valve dohc. 4 speed. it had about the same hp as the turbo model. boy i miss that car. was a powerhorse

114 hp...4 speed automatic...the turbo model would feel a LOT better.
