Have you seen peaugh's revenge of the fallen toys reviews? He's got the new Starscream and "Scavenger". He shows how Scavenger might be just one arm. I also read there will be a 2 foot tall figure. There are new pictures out of the fallen toy, and I saw new pictures of the blue bike transformed corrictly, I don't know if the bikes will combine.

As for the three robots chasing after the R8, I found a HD version and paused it (repeatidily) and after looking very closely at, I don't believe Arcee has 3 robot forms. I think they are 3 separate robots. One of is pink(maybe Arcee) and another one is Green, leaving me to believe that is a autobot called Knock out based on the figure that was just released.
One of the recent new toy pics was of the blue Arcee cycle's robot mode, but it was incomplete, so maybe the three do just have one robot mode, and the other bots jumping around are others like you said.

I have seen some 1080p caps of the teaser and you can def make out the 3 different bots following the Audi are very motocycle like, Making me believe it is the 3 Arcee bots. I agree that "steam shovel pete" is only 1/7th of Devestator yep, makes me salivate over the "reported" 2 ft tall toy in the makings. The only thing I'm not sure on who PWN'D Prime like that...and does that lead to his death...

Gotcha I just recently got to see the stills was at work all day so i was glad the trailer was up last night before i went to bed and I was able to download it so i can watch it over and over again. This movie franchise has really turned me into a fanboy not only of this movie but other series as well got to know all the inside stuff first *shifts eyes from side to side*
My opinion on Steam Shovelin' Pete is that when Megatron came back online at the bottom of the sea, he pulled Bonecrusher, Blackout and Brawl up with him and then stuck them together to make Devastator. After finding out that name was already copyrighted, he called his creation: The Fallen tm (tm is obviously there for Trademark).

Ah, you do? Oh well, I already sent you it. I definitely have to admit, it was pathetic on YouTube but in HD it is suitably better and playing it in Quicktime allows half speed so you can get some extra details. I suggest pausing it when they show you the ships at the beginning (just before they switch to the next scene) and look closely at it, especially the planes. Given what's happening to them and from what I can see, the ships, up close, are all in CGI.
My only hesitation is that I know Paramount has been having numerous uploads of the teaser pulled. I wouldn't want this to be taken down for linking to a direct download. I still have to think about that.

Well I was told on many fanwebsites ( it was a huge discussion) That it took them 5 years to make the first one...because the special effects had to be perfect and were expensive....but this movie not only did they have more money....but they had better technology too.....so they began work on it immediately right after the first one. So I have high hopes for this movie.

I don't see how a Transformer fan talking about the teaser of the upcoming movie in the franchise impedes upon the suspense or excitement of the film in any way. It's no different than the numerous movie, comic book, and action figure news sites or magazines that will feature articles about it. It's just another cog of the hype machine, tiny at that given that I'm a no one.
All I've done is talk about it and get a few other people talking about it and thinking about it as well, promoting further interest. I haven't damaged the experience of seeing the film for anyone.
Well you got me ther. But jeez he is huge for just one of the supposedly six constructicons. I highly doubt we will ever see devastator for 2 reasons now. 1. Brawl was misnamed devastator in the first one which would cause confusion amungst the normal people who know nothing of transformers. 2 He would be way too huge if that is just one of the constructicons.
News from Toyfair UK mentioned a 2 foot tall Devastator toy made of voyagers. I'm not sure they'd go through such effort for something not in the film. "Too expensive" and such has been the excuse for lack of intricate combiners for years. Unless it's something in the sure-success blockbuster of a movie, I don't think it'd be made.
Yea thats the main problem is how expensive it would be to make a devastator out of cgi. Especially when they are combining into devastator it is problably hard enough for the animators with all of the little moving parts on the seperate transformers.
Well, it's one of those cases where everything has been removed per request of Hasbro, because someone ended up taking pictures of things they weren't supposed to.
The US Toy Fair is soon though so I'm sure there will be a flood of new, relevant info
Actually, the full teaser for the first movie did show the scene at the meeting of the government with the secretary of defense playing that annoying hacking sounds from Frenzy and Blackout. But I kind of liked that Mars Rover thing, especially since if you read the comic (I believe it's the movie adaption, not the prequel), we find out who the robot that the rover spot is. It's Bumblebee for anyone who is wondering about that old teaser.
Just wanted to point out how much is shown in this first teaser compared to last time. I was surprised, especially with Bay saying this teaser is apparently "holding back"
Yea, definitely. I think the new one shows a lot. I was actually really surprised to see so much. I mean, I can understand that we've had Ravage leaked and I can understand that Megatron is probably in it and they but the scene right next to Starscream to make it look like Starscream (a nice teaser bit). We've had the toy of the Audi R8 and we had Steam Shovelin' Pete in toy but this is the first real stuff we've scene of the last two aforementioned characters.
This teaser was awesome, I think the shakey cam from the first movie was the fact that since the budget was small when the action happened they had to film like that to save money but I think in this one if there is shakey cam its very minimum I hope. I think after the movie is out a couple of us should get together and chat about the movie.
K.L. it's going to be alot of hub bub about this clip. I say whatever it is...we will see it soon ya know? TF2 will have it's hits and misses but I bet it makes more money than the first. Hopefully that will mean Hasbro will keep the 2.0 line going and we get more new versions of classic characters like: Soundwave, Blaster, Wheeljack, Blitzwing and others we care about ya dig?
I'm sure they'll be focused on movie toys for at least a year, same as last time. With Animated potentially ending after season 3, I hope they do make room for some more Classics/Universe stuff too. If this current batch has sold well, that's really all they need to go ahead.
Given the size I would save devastator but you are right it doesnt look like a combiner. I have a theory that this may be the proto form of devastator before it asumes a earth disguise. Since we know that bayformers can survive with most of its body cut off (see frenzy) maybe this big ass robot will be blown up and the individual parts become individuals who have the ability to reform... just a theory...
Hahaha. Well, I might take a friend to see Dragonball in April and I'm guessing by then, they'll have more full trailers on but... that live action DB movie is not impressing me so far. Luckily, the only main place I go with my cousins to is Karate and their dad is a Sensei anyway so it's all good. They even told me about the Arab videos on YouTube, such as Arab on a Treadmill.

My biggest problem is the hair. They're going to CG the Goku hairstyle in, apparently. Now don't you think it'd be cheaper to just do his hair up? Plus there's no guarantee the CG will look perfectly in place on his head 100% of the time. Imagine Chatwin's stunt double.... The Japanese v.a. for Goku. Stereotype. =D

I'd agree. I used to be a big fan but it's just starting bugging over the past year or two. Plus the anime is horrible now. Imagine an anime with the majority of episodes being fillers and the ones that aren't fillers being bad excuses for a horribly cliché episode.

Yes and we've seen the toy of Steam Shovelin' Pete and it has one wheel. Not looking good and I'm not impressed. He's definitely one robot and I sure hope that's not Devastator but his huge arms are gorilla-esque and he's huge. Did I mention he looks stupid, especially in pink and white?

Hahaha. Actually, I've got a theory. We've seen the toy for this piece of crap, right? So what? It could be Devastator (but I hope not) but going by rumours... What if the toy we've seen is Devastator and there are separate parts in the movie but there are also the rumoured separate figures with individual robot modes that do not combine? That could be it... It still wouldn't explain the alt mode for Steam Shovelin' Pete (damn it Bay, make his name Steam Shovelin' Pete or else!) though.

The budget for ROTF is US$200 million. I believe the last movie was somewhere around, I believe under, the US$100 million mark.

Well I was told on many fanwebsites ( it was a huge discussion) That it took them 5 years to make the first one...because the special effects had to be perfect and were expensive....but this movie not only did they have more money....but they had better technology too.....so they began work on it immediately right after the first one. So I have high hopes for this movie.

I don't see how a Transformer fan talking about the teaser of the upcoming movie in the franchise impedes upon the suspense or excitement of the film in any way. It's no different than the numerous movie, comic book, and action figure news sites or magazines that will feature articles about it. It's just another cog of the hype machine, tiny at that given that I'm a no one.

Well you got me ther. But jeez he is huge for just one of the supposedly six constructicons. I highly doubt we will ever see devastator for 2 reasons now. 1. Brawl was misnamed devastator in the first one which would cause confusion amungst the normal people who know nothing of transformers. 2 He would be way too huge if that is just one of the constructicons.

News from Toyfair UK mentioned a 2 foot tall Devastator toy made of voyagers. I'm not sure they'd go through such effort for something not in the film. "Too expensive" and such has been the excuse for lack of intricate combiners for years. Unless it's something in the sure-success blockbuster of a movie, I don't think it'd be made.

Yea thats the main problem is how expensive it would be to make a devastator out of cgi. Especially when they are combining into devastator it is problably hard enough for the animators with all of the little moving parts on the seperate transformers.

And, remember the teaser for the first movie. It just had the mars rover. There was no glimpse at the characters or anything like that

Actually, the full teaser for the first movie did show the scene at the meeting of the government with the secretary of defense playing that annoying hacking sounds from Frenzy and Blackout. But I kind of liked that Mars Rover thing, especially since if you read the comic (I believe it's the movie adaption, not the prequel), we find out who the robot that the rover spot is. It's Bumblebee for anyone who is wondering about that old teaser.

Yea, definitely. I think the new one shows a lot. I was actually really surprised to see so much. I mean, I can understand that we've had Ravage leaked and I can understand that Megatron is probably in it and they but the scene right next to Starscream to make it look like Starscream (a nice teaser bit). We've had the toy of the Audi R8 and we had Steam Shovelin' Pete in toy but this is the first real stuff we've scene of the last two aforementioned characters.

This teaser was awesome, I think the shakey cam from the first movie was the fact that since the budget was small when the action happened they had to film like that to save money but I think in this one if there is shakey cam its very minimum I hope. I think after the movie is out a couple of us should get together and chat about the movie.

I'm sure they'll be focused on movie toys for at least a year, same as last time. With Animated potentially ending after season 3, I hope they do make room for some more Classics/Universe stuff too. If this current batch has sold well, that's really all they need to go ahead.

Given the size I would save devastator but you are right it doesnt look like a combiner. I have a theory that this may be the proto form of devastator before it asumes a earth disguise. Since we know that bayformers can survive with most of its body cut off (see frenzy) maybe this big ass robot will be blown up and the individual parts become individuals who have the ability to reform... just a theory...

Hahaha. Well, I might take a friend to see Dragonball in April and I'm guessing by then, they'll have more full trailers on but... that live action DB movie is not impressing me so far. Luckily, the only main place I go with my cousins to is Karate and their dad is a Sensei anyway so it's all good. They even told me about the Arab videos on YouTube, such as Arab on a Treadmill.

Yea, I was kind of hating on that but now it seems like it could work quite well. Plus, the make-up on him looks nice. I'm just annoyed at the choice of Justin Chatwin as Goku. My biggest problem is the hair. They're going to CG the Goku hairstyle in, apparently. Now don't you think it'd be cheaper to just do his hair up? Plus there's no guarantee the CG will look perfectly in place on his head 100% of the time. Imagine Chatwin's stunt double.... The Japanese v.a. for Goku. Stereotype. =D

Hollywood is all about trends, and it just makes me cringe that after DBZ is going to come an Akira movie. Gotta leave it alone imo :( No telling what other classic animes are gonna get goofy live adaptations after that either

I'd agree. I used to be a big fan but it's just starting bugging over the past year or two. Plus the anime is horrible now. Imagine an anime with the majority of episodes being fillers and the ones that aren't fillers being bad excuses for a horribly cliché episode.
