honestly, I think it deviates a bit too much from the original theme. The original chords (I think they're called) or pieces of the original are spread way too far apart by repetetive parts that were never in the true theme by kyle justin. Not bad, but I like your original better, the shorter one, you remixed it a little too hard here.

they're from a sample cd called 'deadly drum kits' which i found on ebay. you can most probably find them on other vintage drum machine collections too (along with the more infamous roland 808 and 909 kits...). i suppose it wouldnt be too difficult to find a demo of a LinnDrum machine on the net and sample the individual hits if you wanted them for free.
