@tj19941994 Actors say lines like that to interact with the audience. The mezzanine is pretty far and high up from the stage, so I doubt the actors care if a couple people shout "NO!". They probably can't even hear them, let alone see them or care.

@xHermione31x I've heard the broadway show is based off the old comic books, in which Wednesday was a lot more cheerful, you even see her smile (like she is in some of the cartoons). So I think she probably would. It's only the films and TV series in which she's very unemotional and psychopathic.
