Fantastic video!! My son with Down's was given 2 years to live. I was told he would be better off in an institution. He will be 22 in July. He still lives with me. He makes me smile and laugh EVERY day!! (I have shed many tears too) I KNOW how much your life will be blessed. Best wishes!!

He needed oxygen his SATS were very low and he wasn't maintaining his body temp on his own. He was pre mature. I found it really hard to not have him close especially when I first received his diagnoses I just wanted to hold him.

Our 3yr old son was born 8 weeks early, and just got diagnosed with autism. Our children hold the secret of the universe... and they don't keep it a secret, it's LOVE. Tristan is beautiful!! Let's keep learning from our kids, and let's spread their message!

Sign language...that is awesome. I started using sign with my granddaughter and she was able to tell me she was hungry at eight months. AMSL is truly a universal language that can bridge the gap. Good for you!! He is such a sweet boy and I can see he is well loved. I hope that all the wonder and delight you get from him makes up for the 5 days they denied you holding him. That is a world of hurt to endure.

This is the best video I've seen! Our son has downs syndrome [and some health issues], and he is just as sweet and happy as your adorable little boy. He is such an inspiration to everyone! Tonight I was viewing some other youtube videos and saw one from Purdue University ... initially, it seemed informative and encouraging, then it lists the #1 way to prevent downs syndrome is through "therapeutic abortion."
