Imam Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani (Allah have mercy on him), an Imam of the Ahl Sunnah wal Djama'ah, states in his monumental commentary of Sahih al-Bukhari:
"When the living of the martyrs is proven from the text of the Qur’an, then this is also proven from a analogical point of view. And the Prophets are superior then the martyrs" [Fath al-Bari, Volume 006: Page No. 379]

Regarding burden of proof--i've already borne it, but i'll do it AGAIN. Al-Bukhari in his section on the "Explanation of the Qur'an" made ta'weel for 28:88 and said the Wajh of Allah means His Mulk (Dominion/Ownership). Regarding Al-Qalam, 42, in which the Wahhabis claim Allah will "show His tibia," Al-Bayhaqi (Al-Asmaa') reported from Ibn Abbas that it means a "day of hardship." Of 2:115 Mujahid (student of Ibn `Abbas) said it refers to the qiblah for the Sunnah prayer while on an animal.
There's more: Ibn Hajar al-`Asqalani, in his book, Al-Fath (an explanation of the meaning of Sahih al-Bukhari), Volume 6, page 39-40, said: " ... in reference to al-Bukhari's saying that the attribute of Allah, ad-dahik, means 'mercy,' it is closer to say that it means 'acceptance of deeds.'" The Wahhabis, of course, claim that Allah has a smiling face (and, of course, one cannot smile without a mouth). This is enough to show the Salaf themselves made ta'weel.
D, i suggest you get your hands on a copy of Al-Asmaa' from Al-Bayhaqi. You will see therein that the Salaf made detailed ta'weel on numerous ocassions.
Lastly, i do want to make it clear, it is better for a person to stick with the general ta'weel (ta'weel ijmaali). That is, to affirm to Allah His Attributes, such as, Yad, `Ayn, Wajh, etc. without giving them a specific meaning or ascribing a kayf ("how"), while at the same time being clear that Allah is not ascribed with organs, limbs, appendages, being an object, occupying space, being similar to the creations, etc. ...
On the other hand (figuratively speaking), the specific ta'weel (tafseeli) is not blameworthy, especially, when there are body-worshiping deviants masquerading as Muslims and trying to fool people into thinking Allah has a literal pair of right hands, 10 or 12 fingers, one tibia, two feet on the Kursi, while the rest of Him is allegedly sitting or hovering above the Arsh with a smiling face, etc. The scholars gave specific meanings to terms, like Wajh, `Ayn, Yad to refute such claims.
...If the Wahhabi REALLY understood that Allah ABSOLUTELY does not need or resemble the creations, then he would immediately understand that parts, organs, location are inapplicable to Allah. The real objection the Wahhabis have with using the rational proofs is that they are inescapable to the sound mind. A contradiction cannot be true. Claiming God is literally "Most High," but that God is also below Jesus at night (let's not even talk about timezones) is a contradiction. The mind rejects this. Your common sense is disturbed by what i am writing, b/c it demonstrates that you are indisputably contradicting yourself and on falsehood.
In summary these scholars proved IN VARIOUS WAYS that Allah ABSOLUTELY does not need or resemble the creations, which is a principle derived from the Qur'an. They actually DISAGREED with some of the core assumptions of the Grks, such as, the alleged eternality of matter or the infinite divisibility of bodies. The Muslims studied the Gk. texts, not to adopt their creed, but to expose where they went wrong. As a result, Gk. philosophy did not dominate Islam like it did in the Christian West.
If (some of) the Greek philos claimed God is surrounded by space, well they were wrong. We all know that bodies composed of particles and are not infinitely divisible. Who could claim to be a Muslim and object to that?!? We also know that Allah is not a body and that Allah is not that which composes bodies. Again, no objection. Also, we know that Allah isn't space and is not dependent upon the creations; hence, Allah does not require space in order to exist. That's common sense and easy to get.
D, the term "Wahhabi" is what the SUNNIS have used to refer to the Najdi object-worshiping TERRORISTS who have been murdering Muslims for the past 250 years--simply look at what they did to the people of Hijaz in the early 1800's. I want to clarify a point here. The Salaf employed ta'weel (non-literal) interpretation. For instance, 24:35 IF taken literally would mean "Allah is THE Noor (Light) of the Heavens and Earth." Neither the Sunnis NOR the Wahhabis take this Verse in the literal sense. If one took the Verse literally, it would contradict 6:1, which says: "Allah created the darkness AND the light." Ibn Abbas explained 24:35 to mean that Allah is the One WHO GUIDES the inhabitants of the Heavens/Earth...
...Similarly, Al-Bukhari made ta'weel for Al-Qasas, 88--that if taken literally would mean that on the Judgment Day EVERYTHING would be annihilated except for Allah's (alleged) Face. This would include, according to the Wahhabi methodology, the annihilation of the two feet, the one shin, fingers, shadow, etc. of the thing they think is "Allah." When one understands that Allah is ABSOLUTELY Incomparable and Transcendent, it is easy to understand that Allah is not in space, place, or direction.

Nonetheless, visiting the graves of the righteous and seeking barakah does not entail worship. The Companions sought barakah from the traces of the Prophet (sallallahu `alayhi wasallam). Simply because some jaahil people do wrong things at the graves of some of the awliyaa' does not make the Wahhabis guided. As we have established, the Wahhabis admit they pray to an object.

Furthermore, saying Allah is [allegedly] "above" the Heavens and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah," isn't adequate for a person to embrace even Wahhabism. The Hadith has several riwayah, that if TAKEN LITERALLY would render them in contradiction; hence, nullifying the authenticity of the Hadith--following the literal method.

IBN ABBAS and At-Tabari both said the Name of Allah An-Noor means "Al-Hadi"--the One Who Guides." Muslims do not pray to light---and as far as i know, the Wahhabis don't go around praying to light.

There is/was not CATEGORICAL prohibition of ta'weel, for the SALAF THEMSELVES did so on many occassion. The Khalaf did it MORE OFTEN because of the fitnah of the quasi-Muslim object worshipers.

When this fitnah became more prominent, they explicitly refuted it--just as the early Salaf did not have a lot of sayings pertaining to the issue of Qadar. That controversy was not as prevalent as it wouldbe later, but when it became widespread, the scholars spent a lot o ink refuting that ideology.

This has been classified as Sahih as related on the authority of Anas ibn Malik (r) by: al-Bazzar in his Musnad, Abu Ya`la in his Musnad, Ibn `Adi in al-Kamil fi al-du`afa', al-Bayhaqi in Hayat al-anbiya' fi quburihim.
Even your pseudo sheikh Albani classified it as Sahih: Silsilat al-ahadith al-sahihah (#621). Here you have it :)

Imam Bayhaqi (rahimullah) wrote a whole book called: Haayatul Ambiyaa Fi Qubuurihim. Imam Bayhaqi,an imam of the Ahl Sunnah Wal Djama'ah, even wahabis/so called salafis accept him. In that book, he proofs that the Prophets (peace be upon them) are alive.

It's funny because the greatest Mujahideen were traditional Sunni's. Salahuddin Ayyubi was a Qadiri Sufi. Regarding burden of proof--i've already borne it, but i'll do it AGAIN. Al-Bukhari in his section on the "Explanation of the Qur'an" made ta'weel for 28:88 and said the Wajh of Allah means His Mulk (Dominion/Ownership). Regarding Al-Qalam, 42, in which the Wahhabis claim Allah will "show His tibia," Al-Bayhaqi (Al-Asmaa') reported from Ibn Abbas that it means a "day of hardship." There's more: Ibn Hajar al-`Asqalani, in his book, Al-Fath (an explanation of the meaning of Sahih al-Bukhari), Volume 6, page 39-40, said: " ... in reference to al-Bukhari's saying that the attribute of Allah, ad-dahik, means 'mercy,' it is closer to say that it means 'acceptance of deeds.'" The Wahhabis, of course, claim that Allah has a smiling face (and, of course, one cannot smile without a mouth). This is enough to show the Salaf themselves made ta'weel.

On the other hand (figuratively speaking), the specific ta'weel (tafseeli) is not blameworthy, especially, when there are body-worshiping deviants masquerading as Muslims and trying to fool people into thinking Allah has a literal pair of right hands, 10 or 12 fingers, one tibia, two feet on the Kursi, while the rest of Him is allegedly sitting or hovering above the Arsh with a smiling face, etc. The scholars gave specific meanings to terms, like Wajh, `Ayn, Yad to refute such claims.

D, i already gave you the Verse 24:35. If you take it literally it means that God is light and a part of which is here on earth. This BLATANTLY contradicts the Wahhabi claim Allah is "in" or "above" the Heavens (or Arsh). 2:115 means literally that wherever the person turns who works at the sewage processing plant would be facing in the direction of the face of the thing you claim to be "God" (a`udhu billah). Either you take these Verses literally--which is kufr--or you make ta'weel.

The real objection the Wahhabis have with using the rational proofs is that they are inescapable to the sound mind. A contradiction cannot be true. Claiming God is literally "Most High," but that God is also below Jesus at night (let's not even talk about timezones) is a contradiction. The mind rejects this. In summary these scholars proved IN VARIOUS WAYS that Allah ABSOLUTELY does not need or resemble the creations, which is a principle derived from the Qur'an. They actually DISAGREED with some of the core assumptions of the Grks, such as, the alleged eternality of matter or the infinite divisibility of bodies. The Muslims studied the Gk. texts, not to adopt their creed, but to expose where they went wrong. As a result, Gk. philosophy did not dominate Islam like it did in the Christian West.

If (some of) the Greek philos claimed God is surrounded by space, well they were wrong. We all know that bodies composed of particles and are not infinitely divisible. Who could claim to be a Muslim and object to that?!? We also know that Allah is not a body and that Allah is not that which composes bodies. Again, no objection. Also, we know that Allah isn't space and is not dependent upon the creations; hence, Allah does not require space in order to exist. That's common sense and easy to get.

D, D, Al-Qurtubi was an Ash`ari scholar. You did not address what i mentioned about 24:35. If you take the Verse literally, then you are a light worshiping Zorastrian praying to the illuminations here on Earth. Is it not the case that bodies are composed of particles? Don't bodies and their components (particles) REQUIRE space? Is it not the case that Allah does not need the creation; hence He doesn't REQUIRE space to exist. And isn't it the case Allah is Incomparable; hence not a body?

As i have said, we know from what Allah has informed us with in the Qur'an that He ABSOLUTELY does not need or resemble anything (42:11/29:6). This is how we know that Allah isn't literally in space or direction. The Verses that SOME people might misconstrue and think Allah is everywhere-close to the neck-with us-above us-etc. should not be taken in their most literal sense.

I want to clarify a point here. The Salaf employed ta'weel (non-literal) interpretation. For instance, 24:35 IF taken literally would mean "Allah is THE Noor (Light) of the Heavens and Earth." Neither the Sunnis NOR the Wahhabis take this Verse in the literal sense. If one took the Verse literally, it would contradict 6:1, which says: "Allah created the darkness AND the light." Ibn Abbas explained 24:35 to mean that Allah is the One WHO GUIDES the inhabitants of the Heavens/Earth...

Nonetheless, visiting the graves of the righteous and seeking barakah does not entail worship. The Companions sought barakah from the traces of the Prophet (sallallahu `alayhi wasallam). Simply because some jaahil people do wrong things at the graves of some of the awliyaa' does not make the Wahhabis guided. As we have established, the Wahhabis admit they pray to an object.

I told you i don't like the term "established" for it could lead to someone thinking about created things (such as, locations). But, yes, Allah has His Attributes--but His Attributes do not occupy space and are not related to a body. Again saying Allah exists without a place entails confirmation of Existence and negation of need or similar.

You fail to understand that directions, space, objects, etc. are part of the CREATIONS and are inapplicable to the Creator. Likewise, so is change. Allah did not START TO EXISTS in a direction. Regarding the saying (you ascribe) to Ibn Abbas, it implies that the Arsh is uncreated (which is shirk and kufr). Furthermore, the Prophet said: "Allah created everything from the [primorial] Water."

The wahhabis believe Allah ROSE OVER the Arsh. That means that Allah was not always "Most High" (according to their claim). Furthermore, Muslims believe Prophet Jesus is in the Second Heaven. The Wahhabis believe Allah comes down to the FIRST HEAVEN late at night (but uh... it's always late night somewhere on Earth). Given that the First Heaven is BELOW the Second (where Jesus is located), that would mean the wahhabis consider Jesus higher than what they worship (which isn't Allah in reality).

Furthermore, the PROPHET SAID: "Nothing is below Allah." Again, here the "aboveness of Allah" refers to STATUS and not a literal altitude. Only an object worshiper would pray to something in a very high place.

@dameen78 You already brought this issue up. The Hadith says LITERALLY Allah is IN the Heavens--not above... but then you give the Hadith a NON-LITERAL interpretation. Furthermore, saying Allah is [allegedly] "above" the Heavens and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah," isn't adequate for a person to embrace even Wahhabism. The Hadith has several riwayah, that if TAKEN LITERALLY would render them in contradiction; hence, nullifying the authenticity of the Hadith--following the literal method.

@dameen78 And i mentioned what Imam Ali, the 4th Caliph said. Saying Allah is "above" does not necessitate direction. It can also refer to STATUS. Furthermore, what the PROPHET SAYS trumps what (you distort and ascribe to) his followers. The Prophet said: "NOTHING IS BELOW YOU [Allah]." This is what Imam Muslim related in his Sahih.

...COMMON SENSE tells us that 24:35 cannot be understood literally. 6:1 says: "Allah created the darkness and the noor (light)." So now, if the Wahhabis were consistent, they are claiming Allah (allgedly) created Himself. Additionally, the SALAF did make ta'weel. They made ta'weel for 24:35. IBN ABBAS and At-Tabari both said the Name of Allah An-Noor means "Al-Hadi"--the One Who Guides." Muslims do not pray to light---and as far as i know, the Wahhabis don't go around praying to light.

So following YOUR method, when a person makes sujud, and his face ad chest is directed towards the floor, that would mean God is below him. And the person working in the swine slaughterhouse, wherever he turns--in the directon of hog guts--he would be directing himself in the direction of this (imaginary) face you worship. The Salaf made EXPLICIT ta'weel.

Al-Bukhari himself made ta'weel for Al-Qasas, 88; he made ta'weel for the term "Dahik"--he did not say Allah "laughs" or "smiles." There is/was not CATEGORICAL prohibition of ta'weel, for the SALAF THEMSELVES did so on many occassion. The Khalaf did it MORE OFTEN because of the fitnah of the quasi-Muslim object worshipers.

When this fitnah became more prominent, they explicitly refuted it--just as the early Salaf did not have a lot of sayings pertaining to the issue of Qadar. That controversy was not as prevalent as it wouldbe later, but when it became widespread, the scholars spent a lot o ink refuting that ideology.

@dameen78 Again, we have a contradiction here. Al-Jawzi said Imam Ahmad did not ascribe directionality to Allah. Claiming Allah is literally ABOVE entails directionality. Furthermore, his Daf' is an EXPLICIT REFUTATION of the quasi-Hanbali object worshipers, whom the Wahhabis follow. So you are stuck. Also, th scholars did not say "...without ASKING how." They said BI (with) LAA (no) KAYF (how)--even with a phrase as simple as that, you guys can't avoid tahreef (distortion) of the texts.

I said, i would produce the sayings of the Salaf (and Khalaf), which, of course, you would reject. Then you would produce the sayings from "Troid," or whatever Wahhabi websites you guys use nowadays. So since we can't agree on what the scholars said, i showed that furthermore your disbelief is filled with contradictions.

You don't understand me. Your problem is, that you are thinking about Allah in the context of the creatures. Creatures can only exist when it is in a place or direction. Allah is the creator of place and direction. Allah exist without a place/direction. Place and direction are creations of Allah. You believe that Allah is in a direction.
My question to you is: Where was Allah before He created direction?
