Legalizing it would also imply taxes, meaning the government profits from these drugs, and also quality control will also come in consideration. So financially, thumbs up, some moral issues will probably surge from it, but hey:S nothing comes for free.

So far, I haven't seen much results. If it's legalized, people will have a safer source to get the drug. Meaning, less risks with gangs, forcing the gangsters to look for other income source.

If my options are, get worse and die, and get worse and get rich and die; I would much rather take the latter. Also, as I mentioned previously, a legal drug implies quality control, would you rather have people harm themselves with unknown substances or with quantified and detailed substances? Worse is not worse than worser.

If, however, maintaining it illegal and performing other actions would in any way subdue the damage it causes, I too would be opposing the legalization of the drug, however, so far I have yet to see any convincing alternatives.
