Actually it's very old and popular song called "Дорогой длинною" ("Dorogoj dlinnoju", "By the long road"). It was sang by many russian singers. If you'll search for "Дорогой длинною" or "Ехали на тройке с бубенцами", you'll find number of interpretations.

Ahmad zahir became very famous, because he was clean inside. in other words, he wasnt prejudice. He loved Farsi/Dari the way it is. Also, he loved pashtu, English, Hindi,Spanish.Ahmad Zahir was very talented,he could bring any pretty compose and woeds;used it in his Farsi and made it better.

His original name was Ahmad Toryalai Zahir Kakar.His father was kakar tribe leader from Laghman.

He is rightly called the lion of Laghman and most famous person from kakar tribe.
