  • that ork at 0:13 looks like gothmog from the pelennor fields.

i suppose they just used his costume for this shot?

  • @TheJBurner lol no he doesnt.

  • @Tripyourift2 ofc he does. the head looks like it has a tumor just like gothmogs

  • 240p we meet again

  • wel that wo shit

  • weekend at bernie's, middle earth edition

  • I get it. He's Prince of Rohan.right?

  • @Kanchai7 yeah pretty much he's the kings son

  • Lol i know why they have the white hand on them its because suramon smacked the crao out of them when they were made

  • 9press 9,8,7,6 in that order to create music :D

  • If anybody would read my other comments i clearly say that i know the orcs arent from mordor. im just saying that eomer shut the rohirrim guy down

  • I like the part when he's all like: find the king's son and shit...then one of the guys is all like: fucking mordor's gonna pay for this shit...and the other dude is all like: nah bro. these crazy muthafuckers are not from mordor...then another dude is all like: lord eoma or something!...then this dude is all like...fuck, he's still alive!

  • I wonder how mordor and isengard make orcs... do they just dig up dead elves from the mud???

  • @TheDomtar Search "Orc (Middle-Earth)" on Wikipedia. (I know it isn't a reliable sight though but it does have a list of how orcs are possibly made)

  • @Ltspongebob3 TYVM!

  • The battle of the fords of Isen would have been sick to see on-screen

  • @crudesicle Yes, the 1st and 2nd

  • @crudesicle but even the aftermath of it wasnt shown in the movie, they had to put it as an extended scene.but i agree

  • @crudesicle Would've been so awesome to see it done as depicted in the book/the books name I've forgotten lol. I always liked Theodred, even though he wasn't a main character. Theodred and Eomer are my 2 favourite Rohirrim characters.

  • Rohirrim: "Mordor will pay for this!"

Eomer: "These orcs are not from Mordor"

Eomer, the first man to troll

  • @McGrathsChannel What are you talking about? How is that "trolling?"

  • @PrUnEJuIcEtHeThIrD cause the rohirrim guy was trying to make a bold statement and eomer just shot him down

  • @McGrathsChannel lol lol but actually the helm the orc was wearing was of sauroman not sauron so he was right they werent from mordor

  • @McGrathsChannel the orks are not from Mordor they are from isengard.

  • @McGrathsChannel they have the white hand on the shield helmet etc, The white hand represents Isengard and thus, Saruman.

  • @RicardoBatistaPassos im not saying there from mordor im just saying tht eomer shut him down

  • @McGrathsChannel

Nope. Those orcs were from Isengard, which is not Mordor.

  • @McGrathsChannel Those orcs were from Isengard, because they have the white hand on their helmets which is to repersent Saruman, I know I'm a LOTR Nerd.

  • @tamarathms Me too.. well ex-LOTR nerd lol I sadly went off it for a few months.

  • @McGrathsChannel What do you mean? they are obviously White hand marked?

  • @McGrathsChannel i don't get it?

  • @ninjabastard2 They're uruk-hai, not orcs. Or at least they have the white hand of isengard

  • @VineFynn oh right, clever...

  • @McGrathsChannel It seems like 143 people have NO FUCKING IDEA what trolling is

  • @larzarus1234 Was thinking the same thing. How is that trolling?

  • @McGrathsChannel wait.... i don't get it

  • @McGrathsChannel That's not trolling.

  • 0:50 - Brian Blessed, THEODRED'S ALIVE!

  • In the LOTRO game, we'll soon make it to the Fords, and it'll be before this battle takes place

  • @trottheblackdog I love lotro... but some of the epic quests are soo far off... :(

  • the two towers, or the return of the king?

  • @mathewleemeixner 2 towers

  • Eh, Theodred was lain to rest in a mound at the Fords...

Again PJ wrecks my favorite books.

  • why oh why did they cut so many of eomer's bits?? why did they cut anything at all? if they were concerned about the length of the movies, they should have included everything in the books, and then made MORE than 3 movies! That would have been perfect!

  • my channel

  • 0:35 Captain America!!

  • Thumbs up if you saw the movie or read the book and became a LotR nerd or got obessed with LotR

  • Tom Bombadil did nothing to advance the real story. That's the reason they gave, and it's a pretty darn good reason why. I guarantee you his appearance would have made the films longer, and possibly have lost a wider audience than the films gained by leaving him out. You make films like these drag on and on and on, you lose your audience, and therefore, you make all the book purists happy but you make a sorry film in the end.

  • @PetraKenobi true, i always thought they should have made a film for all 6 books so they could fit all the bits in they missed.

  • @Timatothecheese Six books? what?

  • @blank21121 the whole series is devided into six "books" as they are called, 2 for each segment. so 2 for the fellowship of the ring, 2 for the 2 towers etc. like i say if they made a film for each of these "books" they could have fitted everything and more in, and probs got more money too.

  • @Timatothecheese Im sorry, i forgot. im just about to finish book 1 of the fellowship of the ring.

  • @blank21121 Well the only way they can include everything imo is if they make a lotr (high budget) series. But that will never happen unfortunately.

  • @Timatothecheese 6 books? There were 3. Well, 4 if you count The Hobbit as being part of the series...

  • @MrCybershade Wrong. The fellowship of the ring, two towers, and return of the king each comprise of 2 books equalling 6 in the Lord of the Rings, however they are often grouped into either one or 3 books. One book for each title tells the story of Sam and Frodo, the other the story of Aragorn, Gimli and the rest of the fellowship.

  • @Timatothecheese oh. I'm a huge lotr fan I should've known that. Doh!

  • @MrCybershade No worries lol ;D

  • @PetraKenobi Very, very true. Tbh, I remember reading all that stuff with Tom Bombadil, (don't get me wrong, I'm not a movie or book elitist, plus I was quite young when I read the book, just after seeing the first movie) Anyway, when I read the Bombadil chapters, even then I was still thinking, "What's the point in this part."

Lolz, I still like Tom, I wonder who they could've got to play him? Someone tall and who can sing?

  • I think the orc that eomer kicks over is a Goblin-man and not an uruk-hai

  • pause it at 0:14 is it me or does that orc look axectly like gothmog same skin same hands same armour ????

  • @cazer991 Eh just looks like an orc who got his face smashed in from a horse or he was just born like that. His face has a different distortion.Gothmog had a much rounder head and more pointy ears.

  • 0:43 WTF I was taking a bath, leave me alone you moron !

  • Theodred is hot!!!

  • Am I the only one who thinks Theodred is hot ?

  • @lalbenatan yes...

  • This is one of the best emotional scene

  • guys the hobbit will be realesed in 2012 confirmed by peter jackson!!

  • @SoulReaper677 December 14th. Still about over a year that it was supposed to.

  • @MrConnorGames They had some problems, but they are already filming the movie.

  • Aww, that prince guy is so cute!!

  • @dragonofthedarknight hes not a prince, theodred, the one they were looking for, is the prince. eomer is the kings nephew

  • @mastercrowly I was talking about the prince, (that's why I said prince) the King's son that dies, not the King's nephew.

  • 0:22 ??

  • "he's" wasn't used

  • I always wonder what kind of impact Theodred would have had if he survived.

  • Lord of the Rings is a blue and white movie.

  • Haha bobo

  • MAN! bilbo is such a weird name, it sound's like "BOBO" something you would name an elephant! lol

  • @spottysocks321

Somebody did a parody called 'Bored of the Rings' and the re-named Bilbo as Dildo.

  • @Serena2009ification I came accross the book in question when I went shopping back then. I feel bad for not buying it lol.

  • @Serena2009ification I came accross the book in question when I went shopping back then. I feel bad for not buying it lol.

  • @Serena2009ification ive read it lol

  • A shame that they filmed nothing of the old forest and Tom Bombadil and the barrow downs...

  • @krazkash and Radagast the Brown

  • @Adeptusrosse We'll get to see him in the Hobbit :)

  • @Damzelbum Hooray!

  • @krazkash i agree because the barrow downs explains how merry was able to injure the nazgul king with the sword from the barrow downs.

  • @krazkash ABSOLUTLY right... How much is that?Like 80 pages or something ... and they just cut it out...

  • @krazkash Would've taken WAY too much time, and as great as those parts were, it would've been boring for the average cinema crowd.

  • @krazkash To be honest, I can see why they didn't. I mean, Tom was cool and all, but when you think about it he didn't really serve that much of a purpose. He doesn't play any significant part, he doesn't fight in any of the major battles, and nothing he does has a lasting impact on the story. He just saves the hobbits once, gives them a meal and that's it. It would be kind of pointless to have him in the movie.

  • @krazkash i forget wat did it add to the plot

  • @krazkash i think it was either too hard to even immagine tom bombadil and goldberry or it was just out of the price budget or the movie was just getting to long but who cares the movie was great xD but i admit i would of loved to see barrow downs

  • @SNguyen93 Well I think that actually the beginning of the Lord of the Rings simply looked too- you know, like a faerie tale, plus a little long and boring. In the movie, Peter Jackson was trying to skip that part as quickly as possible and make the movie more serious. I wonder how will they handle the Hobbit? They'll have to really change the atmosphere of the book.

  • @CrazyPatriot2011 I agree, the first half of the first book wasn't good, I would go as far as to say it was boring, I thought this before I saw the movies.

  • @CrazyPatriot2011 yea totally i wonder how they handle the Hobbit and i mean... its smaug... they are goona have to make him look like an alpha dragon... and i mean just look at the balrog -_- they are goona have to make smaug seem more awsome then the balrog! because smaug is goona be the main bad guy in the film! and switching topics i wonder if he is goona show Sauron as he is known as The Necromancer because i think it would really be epic....

  • @SNguyen93 The thing what I'm really worried about is how are they going to suddenly show talking trolls. I mean, the LotR trolls are unintelligent beasts who do nothing but roar and brake things...and now they are going to just sit and talk about how are they going to eat their dinner out of thirteen dwarfs, lol. Though, I'm almost hundred percent sure that there will be Gandalf infiltrating Dol Guldur and finding Thrain, and the siege of Dol Guldur, and the Necromancer...

  • @CrazyPatriot2011 i think the trolls are of course gonna be CGI and i believe they could be pulled off but it may be by making the voices grunt kinda like a uruk-hai with a deeper more animalistic voice and also to bring up they are stone trolls not cave trolls like in Lotr, these trolls turn to stone when they are exposed to sunlight. i also to see the white council drive out the necromancer because that is a sketchy part in the story it tells you about gandalf and saruman nothing about others

  • @krazkash Yes. I think the books is much bether

  • @krazkash i hope some of it will be in the hobbit...

  • @krazkash If you think about it the movies are already 2-3 hours long. If they had added in those parts then they would have been even longer.

  • @krazkash It kind of blows my mind that Bombadil was in no way in the film.

  • @LegoLink5 normal orcs, as they are the same size as human and arent muddy like

Uruk hai are orcs and goblins put together with magic and raised in mudpits where goblin bodies has been put in, because you arent able to make life with magic but you are able to regain life :D

  • 0:44 that guy shouldnt have smiled XD

  • some of those extended scenes were so cheesy,,,

    I lol`d at them

  • Why did they only make this into 3 films?

They should have done it in many parts like the books...accept i could understand doing the first film in 1 or 2 to get through the long/slow start

  • He's fucking dead he's been lying there for god knows how many days in the god damn acid rain and yet, Eomer says "He's alive!". Stupid blonde.

  • @DarthCaedus1010 No he was alive you fucking idiot he dies later on cause he was terribly wounded.

  • omg! they should have kepted this scene in the movie!

for someone like me who didn't read the book before the movie came out...

i didn't know who the heck that guy was, i thought it was that little boy who was attacked in da village and he rode back withhis little sister and his little sister was Eowyn, but ijust that, that it wasn't possible... :|

  • im looking for the deleted scene where they all are in a meeting to consult the situation about the ring and where the dark lord's voice appears as saying the line "one ring to rule them all..."

  • theres only 1 complainti have about this movie, they are looking at all the dead bodies and just by chance its the kings son that is the one that is still alive, that also happened in the minas tirith i doubt that would happen in real life.

  • @potty268 kinda agree with you

  • This is a scene that they really should of kept. Cause the part with the dying son wasn't clear.

  • I can't help thinking that if Theoden had been in control of himself, Theodred would have gotten more attention and care, and thus might have lived.

  • some peices like this should be left in. i also love the gimili competing with legolas xD those are always funny.

  • @Hermoor yeah i agree with you but most ppl want fighting since it's more interesting. the producers probably wanted to focus on the action since more scenes of traveling would have made the movie's plot go slower and made the film too long for the theaters

  • @Hermoor remember the books are very long

  • Gayyy

  • For some reason the rain during the search really helped me think of the scene as good. Guess I'm fucked up.

Also even though in the movie they managed to make a good explanation for why Eomer is banished, no one ever got banished in the book. And Erkenbrand is not in the movie. Which is a bit annoying.

  • 0:37

    So cute.

  • Hermoor:

The Gandalf V Witch king made sense. The witch king fled because the Orcs would have routed at the first sight of the Rohirrim. The Witch King keeps them in line.

  • Sorry I kept saying orca. Meant orcs. Stupid iPhone spell check.

  • Motte590

To answer your question, no. That dead Orc is an Isengard orc. He has the white hand. I know what you guys are gonna say, orca are from Mordor. Not exactly true. Thers orca in Moria, the misty mountains witch a group moved to Isengard. Mordor orca are actually different looking to others if you look.

  • @HermiOdleProduction5 Dont orca live in the sea and eat seals? Ayiooooooooooooo!

  • He sure doesn't look happy about Theodred being alive.

  • look at 0:14, isnt that dead orc the one who leads the orcs against minas tirith :D

  • Very great, great scene. Thanks to Jackson for this !

It's just sad that the wrong image of the Battles of the Ford of Isen is given. Eomar did never arrive at the fords, and Theodred fell after the first battle when the Orcs retreated. Grimbold and Elfhelm got the command from Erkenbrand who took some men and went down to defend the hornburg.

  • @mreggie2311 Agreed, PJ/Newline's biggest mistake in my opinion, is that they started to believe they had a better idea then Tolkien did of what people wanted in an epic adventure story, and cut out scenes and characters they thought no one would find interesting in order to make it more 'mainstream'. These stories need to be told with the same timeline and atmosphere found in the books, or not at all.

  • yes, this is from the extended version.^^

  • It will not! IN ONE year their releasing the hobbit...

  • @abovethefogg *fingers crossed*

  • @abovethefogg The hobbit is Cancelled :(

  • @abovethefogg 4 months left.

  • @abovethefogg haha, no xD especially not considering this was written 9 months ago

  • @gubban2 it's beginning filming in feb 2011

  • @abovethefogg too bad it was three years when you made that comment

  • @abovethefogg its been one year since your comment and nothing ... :o

  • @abovethefogg The best is that it is in 2 parts !

  • @abovethefogg lol...its been a year?

  • @CardiacDepress then soon my friend... soon...

  • @abovethefogg so what have you got to say now?

  • @MLGiZRiPPiN icecream is good

  • @abovethefogg well said

  • @abovethefogg well it's been "ONE year" I guess you feel rather silly now don't you.

  • @MasterKickArse yep, they just got the go ahead to film a few months ago, to my knowledge they haven't even begun casting.

  • @eastwood13 nope they have begun casting, and they're already filming it. part 1 should be released some point during 2012 check on IMDb

    much love <3

  • @MasterKickArse very... but its still coming out so its all good

  • @abovethefogg They are making the "studio" to the hobbit and it will be out in 2012 December Peter Jackson says...

  • @abovethefogg yeah that was such an optimistic comment :P

  • @abovethefogg funny cause you posted that a year ago and they still havent released it

  • @abovethefogg one year, and they still haven't released the hobbit.

  • @TasteForDisaster

It's in production now, both are. First is scheduled for December next year, the other for 2013. Looking forward to it. Till then go and get the Extended Blu Ray Edition, worth it :)

  • @Mutio86 i thought they were supposed to release the first one a few months ago :\

  • @TasteForDisaster

No man, last months of 2012 they are expecting to release it.

  • @TasteForDisaster I miscalculated, but they are in production as of now. It will probably be out some time in the beginning of 2012

  • @abovethefogg i hope so, i read the hobbit back when i was a lot younger, and i loved it, i have to read it again some time, and i really can't wait for the movies to come out :)

  • @abovethefogg December 14th 2012 will be released, i'm glad its out before 'the end of the world' part 2 will be released a year later, 2013

  • @abovethefogg its funny cause you posted this ONE year ago.

  • @abovethefogg Love how the comment is ONE year ago.... :|

  • @DarthNecros215 dont think they arnt making it just because it says i posted this a year ago. Its in production right now... google it or sumthing

  • Nope. Look at the original star wars. At least 40 years old and its still great. So is this trilogy, so we dont need someone bashing it down,.

  • @sinnerssoul302 sorry, you must have misunderstood me, i wasn't clear. I love LOTR, it's awesome, but others will see it's bad effects and also not understand the fantasy is what i meant. But maybe, like star wars, it will endure.

  • fuck you

  • What an Ignorant Person you are

  • Look in the dictionary under "ignorant", and then we'll say who is ignorant. ;)

  • actually judging a Language from subtitles, would be considered as ignorant :P.

  • No, that's a wrong word. Also there was no judgment there, just personal taste. See how you need a dictionary before you say someone else is ignorant. ;)

  • So your saying that The Language is an "Ugly Language" simply based on its the Writting, is not being judgemental

So according to you Condeming a Whole language, only on seeing the writting, is not being judgemental?

  • No, that definitely wasn't condemning there. It's just your wish that it was, so that you can have an excuse to be aggressive. Try looking for problems in yourself, especially those problems you wish to see in other people. It is you who actually lacks knowledge, and it is you who is actually aggressive. ;)

  • lovely scene! Thnx for posting this Lordabe.

    @antevrli<
