  • How does the tube stay filled with water?

  • I want one SO bad I wanna make one that goes between 2 75gals that goes over my mantle. If u don't monday me asking how much was ur set up? Or at least the tube part.

  • LUCKYYYYYYYY!!! I wish I had and awesome clear tube in which to swim!

  • @divertom80 where did u buy that tunnel?

  • Made it, cut it myself and used silicone sealant to glue the 45 degree angle cuts I made together. Lots of companies sell acrylic tubing :)

  • THAT IS INGENIOUS!!!

  • very cool

  • Shut up u basterd no one wants to hear u talk negative

  • Yes yes we all know its AMAZING but this tank would be a NIGHTMARE to clean, just saying.

  • OH. MY. GOD. Awesome

  • Where did you buy that acrylic tube

  • I made it, just search for companies that sell acrylic :)

  • Sorry! the acrylic tube with time in seawater loses transparency?

  • Do many of the fish move between the tanks or do most of them tend to stay in the tank they were put in?

  • some do but not all, and to teach them to use the tube you have to place food in the tube so they are enticed into it, once they use it they will always use it then.

  • @divertom80 i have a question.can saltwater fish live in freskwater with other small fish if they are small?

  • @divertom80 lol this is a good idea! *sigh* too bad it might not work for a 5 and 20 gal. tank...

  • cool you built the puffer a highway to the crustacions! weell done

  • What type of Acrylic tubing did you buy, cast or extruded and why? Thanks.

  • This looks a brilliant design would love this in my house

  • where did you get it i was wondering where you can get that fish tank i live in the united states can you get it at petco or petsmart or ebay

  • please someone respond

  • where did you get it i was wondering where you can get that fish tank i live in the united states

  • verry awesome design!!

  • wahahaha this is so funny when that puffer is tryin to cross the tunnel XD

  • nice...it's like a fish city =)

  • LUSH!!!!!!!!!!

  • is that a puffer fish what if he puffs up in the tube and gets stuck

  • awsome tanks as all the tanks are conected by tubes cool!

  • man your tanks are awesome. especially because theyre saltwater

  • that be brilliant if it puffed up in the tube!

  • that would suck if the puffer inflated in the tube lol

  • hells yeah! beastly

  • I love that tank!!!!! I am making one like that with 2x 10 gallon tanks, 3 5x gallon tanks and 1 2 gallon tank. I have 4 pygmy puffer fish ( tropical ) They are breeding so a smaller tank for the babies once they get adults they'll all have a big tank!

  • wow...if it puffed inside the tube it would be a pain in the back to take it out!

  • I was thinking the exact same thing, but you beat me to writing it down. Well done.

  • lol..XD

  • This is a very creative project. My compliments to you. It would be cool to have one and it wouldn't be difficult to build but I lack the Balls to have a tank that could overflow into my living room. LOL I guess if you make the down toobs long enough and lower the surphace a little more that would not be a broblem.

  • Would you have a problem doing a water change, ie if the water level dropped below the inlet to the tube? Because it's only being held up there by water pressure, isn't it?

  • air pressure is the key its negative to ambient thus the water stay in, if i open the valve atop the tube the air gets in and the water goes into the tanks.

  • I see. How do you get the water back in again without flipping the thing over?

  • No problemo, I see your response to mus1582 below.

  • I noticed you had a siphon looking thing on the right side of your tube. Could you please tell me how you use it? As most people fill the tubes with water and then turn them upside down and release the water.

  • I suck the air out of the tube thus replaced by water then let air in to empty it, really simple :)y

  • BADASS......

  • Nice...that might be good also for brackishwater fish...that way one tank is slightly higher salinity than the other...not saying you can go from freash to salt...but kinda an in between system

  • I suppose you could :) it should in theory work but you have to make sure the levels on both tanks are exact else there will be a syphon effect I wanted a syphon effect as it keeps the water fresh in the tube

  • koolness!!!!!!!! what kind of fish is the little black one?

  • 2 spot damsel

  • very nice! i'm really going to try this pretty soon.

  • nice very coo bud

  • I like how the two tanks are connected with 2 tubes. Did you make it or buy it custom? One way or another, very nice job.

  • bit of everything, I bought the tank on left as is but built the acrylic tube from a straight piece.

  • it is really cool. I might do it my self.

  • how u keep da water in????? tell me

  • vacuum you suck the water up into the tube

  • amazing!

  • wow man thats like the perfect tank set up. do all the fish go thru the tubes or just the adventurous ones?

  • most of the fish went through them but the smaller fish stayed in the small tank etc

  • es preciosa una verdadera fauna

  • What do you use to clean the tubes?

  • i drAIN THE water out of the tube and run my hand in with sponge

  • very creative :D

  • aha nice, dude thats awesome 5/5

  • nice setup

haha it would be so funny if the puffer got scared and puffed up and got stuck in the tube

  • Surely this would be horrid to clean? You'd have to be dedicated to your tanks thats for sure.

Otherwise, this looks amazing... Very impressive.

  • That is so cool. I just have to ask. Are you an engineer? This just seems like something that me or some of my buddies would do. Also, do you know where to get this type of acrylic in the states? I want some for a related project but the only stuff that I found online is very expensive.

  • not sure in america, it was super cheap here so do a little digging and you will be able to find a place to buy in america, it all depends on what type of acrylic it is. it cost me $70 ish, a little silicone and hey presto.

  • thats pretty awesome

  • You are insane! That has to be one of the coolest fish tanks I've ever seen! Nice job man. How long did it take you to construct and isn't a saltwater tank like that a lot of maintenance? Awesome... Oh yeah, where'd you buy the tubing from n how do you seal it, with silicone?

  • nice work

  • damn that is a cool fucken set up!

  • where did you get that tube

  • Got it from a company in North Wales (UK) its on the internet cant remember the name of the factory, price was only £30

  • wow that is fucking amazing

  • how did u attach the 2 smaller tanks !!! i want to do that :D

  • I just cut some acrylic tubing two pieces 45 degrees joined the the two small pieces with silicon sealer (non poisenous stuff for fish, make sure its right). and then sucked the air out of the tube and the water rose into the pipe. I have a valve on the right hand side if you look in the video.

  • as for the smaller tanks they were bought as is, they were a craze back in the early 90's you can buy them online on ebay.

  • this is the coolest fish tank networking system i've seen that isn't hollywood. nice work. you are innovative and creative; don't believe the hype that fish lovers are boring...

  • where do you get acrylic tubes like that, and do i dare to ask, how much did they cost?

  • it cost around £30 from wales (uk) They had loads of different sizes available.

  • I glad I was able to see a video of the fish tank highway system idea working. I'm thinking about building one for my Goldfish Tanks

  • wow..i like that double tank u have on the left...
