una voce veramente pazzesca, ho avuto la fortuna di ascoltarla dal vivo più di una volta (da fondo sala, centro e prima fila) e devo dire che, seppur non voluminosissima, è un esplosione di vitalità e suono tecnicamente perfetto...fenomeno assoluto

and might I just add that Miss Bartoli is one of the best singers of our generation. In Baroque music she is unmatched, Rossini roles were practically written for her, and she has an amazing sense of musicianship and flare for performance. Yes her facial expressions can sometimes be distracting; however her vocal fireworks more than adequately make up for it.
