Nice video man,I have a question,I ma thinking of getting one for my PC and PS3.My question if I connect my through HDMI but need to use my PC sound card and speakers, does it work or once connected through HDMI you get the audio through the TV's speakers ?Thanks
sorry if this question is stupid. but i want to get this tv and i have att service right now with no hd on my other tv. now if i got this and didnt get any channels and just used it for games would i still have to pay for hdtv service?
Which one in ur opinion is better this one or the panasonic viera tc-l32u3, because they seem like the same tv and for around the same price but this one comes with an iPod dock and the other one has 1080p..... I'm lost plz reply
@NewPSCity This may come off as a rather strange question but is this TV in your bedroom? If yes, is it facing the foot of your bed, the side of your bed or is it facing sideways across from your bed? The reason I ask is because I'm wondering where I should put my TV in my room.
@ManicRaider Not a strange question :) My room is pretty small. In the video my bed is located on the left side and the door is a few feet behind me. And on the right side have 1 more window and the ac. You should make a video on ur room and I'll help u decide if u want me too :)
Hey, PSCity, thanks again for the detailed videos. I got one for $299 and couldn't be happier. There is no discernible lag with my PS3 as you note in another video and the overall video quality on this set is great (there could be some more fine tuning adjustments, but I've got it set to a real nice picture).
For those checking this set out, the only negative I have for this is the sound.....not horrible, but could be better. I'll be shopping for a cheap home theater system next. Thanks again!
Man, all the reviews Ive seen are so awesome... yet I stumbled upon one reputable website that says this tv has oversharpening that cannot be corrected. Does this happen on your tv?
I just have two questions before I head out to pick up one of these -
1. With your gaming, does this set do the job re: little or no lag time and no image blur?
2. How is the sound? I know pretty much all of the smaller sets don't have the best speakers.....I'm not too picky but I don't to have to turn it all the way up and have distortion. Unfortunately I know you can't hook up computer speakers via a headphone jack with this.
@JoiseyRepresent i feel no lag at all plus it has minimal blur to it when i play MVC3 on it. The sound is okay, it can fill up my small room. It does include game mode.
@NewPSCity Hey, IDK if you remember me, but I bought the 22 inch version that has a TN panel a while back but it was defective out of the box. finally got my refund and got a little extra money so I ordered this one a couple of minutes ago. I cant wait to have my first IPS TV! (been playing on a 23 inch TN with ridiculous backlight bleeding.)
to be real with most of yous you dont need eney cables to have a good picture on your tv but if you want a 3D look then ya but HD no it's going to look the same like if you buy a new LCD or HD tv your going to get the same picture so for the ones that wants to no about what do i need to do you dont have to do nothing if your tv is new but if it's a 05 06 07 then ya you might need the cables to have that 3D OR HD picture back
@NewPSCity my bad yo i tipe to fast um what i was saying is people were asking you how do you get your tv to look like how it looks so they could do the same and what i said was you dont have to buy no cables to get it to look like yours all you got to do is by a HD TV it's like blue ray all blue ray is is a HD look that is all it is so if you own let say a old tv and you have blue ray your tv is just going to have a HD look why your watching your movie buy a new tv it's going to be the same
@NewPSCity Nice vid first does the 360 250 gb come with hd cables I saw a couple of reviews where some were saying they did, second you if I get a 40 inch will the diff between hd and component/composite make a diff. Thanks in advance
@Robertsmith2002 The 360 slim does not come with HD cables, only composite cables, red, white, and yellow. On a 40 inch between HDMI and Component not much difference, from HD cables to composite a huge difference.
@rickyb00by i would recommend a panasonic since sharp and panasonic are used for gaming, sony have more lag from what i have read. what model is the sony?
@007007473 To tell you the truth not much between Component and HDMI, with Composite and HDMI a huge difference. What cables are you using with your TV? Its always best to get HDMI. Feel free to ask anymore questions :)
@reggy136 are you using an HDMI cable, just connect that to the back of the 360 to the HDMI port in the TV then select the Input on your TV where you connected the HDMI. Or are u using a different cable???
Yeah the tv you have is nice and the 720p will be fine with me since it wont make much of a difference on a 32". I went to best buy and threw out the LG option and replaced it with a Samsung LN32C350D1D. I liked the sound of yours better but i do have surround sound.
@nyyfan45 yeah 720p won't make any difference on a 32 inch, but it might if you are close to your TV. So what do you think about your samsung. If you don't like it give the Sharp or a Panasonic a try. The panasonic X2 or the U22 i think the 1080p version of my TV.
I was wondering if your tv or the LG tv has a game mode? Also is there a lag when playing online because i didnt know whether to go with 60hz or 120hz? I am also wanting to get the same model LG tv as bryantfamily.
@nyyfan45 Yes the LG i used to have had game mode, plus my current panasonic has game mode. I feel no lag when playing online. 120hz will increase lag and it did not work for me. There was still some motion blur with 120hz. The panasonic is good, but if you want to 1080p get the Panasonic U22 i think, its like my X2 but mines is only 720p.
@NewPSCity No Problem, I'm getting a 32" LG tv on the 20th; you think the quality of it is gonna be good as, if not better then a Panasonic? yours is amazing bro!
@bryantfamily LG make nice LCD tvs. Their plasmas imo aren't that great. My parents brought a 42" LG plasma and after 2 years there was a line across the panel. I'd stay away from their plasmas personally but LCD should be fine. Panasonic make much better plasmas also.
