fuild master sells that part inside that usually fails...most of the time its just that small part that fails....much much easier to replace...something that anybody who knows how to read can do...that part is not usually available in stores i think...but they sell it in fuild master website
I'm looking at your how to replace a fill valve instructions and you say you're going to recommend a certain model fill valve. You hold it up but don't tell us a company name or model. Can I ask what model it is. You also say it's available at the "home store". Is that Home Depot?
ok, kinda funny...I did what you said and since you didn't say reattach the supply line, well I didn't. Turned the water back on, guess what happened...LOL

I use the same valve when I change one out. Very simple if the angle stops are fine.

your in the uk, a good tip is using a flexible pipe to connect the cold main to the bottom of the float valve, however beware of cross thredding
