This song is about Courtney Love. 1): The riff and melodic guitar, AND, verse, chorus, verse, chorus is very Nirvana (a subtle stab); 2: the lyrics could be applied to anyone, but if you listen, they really fit Courtney's demeanor - "go take a little more, we'll scrape you off the floor (addiction), a great big super star, is what you think you are," she parades herself around as a star. maybe he had her mind, but it applies to all aspiring artists in general. seems feasible.
