  • @pedrogamero because the whole world speaks english...jst enjoy the song dnt make comment bout thing you will never understand/appreciate..enjoy the song.

  • Why do people have to put someone down to compliment another? Why insult Halle Berry to uplift "true African" women? It's bull. Halle Berry is beautiful and there are beautiful women in every culture. A beautiful woman is a beautiful woman. Period. Has NOTHING to do with how many "drops of black blood" are in a person. Stupid argument to have.

  • @hotmulatto Nicely put!

  • @hotmulatto What?? Who's insulting her??? What that person said about Halle wasn't an insult, so don't get too sensitive, sheesh...

  • @mliam7 Sounds like you're the one getting all bent out of shape! I was simply saying that it's not necessary to put someone down in order to lift someone else up. Honestly, the amount of "blackness" or how much "pure" African blood one has is no indicator of beauty. It's just skin color. Features are what make people beautiful. I think it's stupid to argue beauty in terms of color. There's enough of that going on in America, no need to take it to youtube.

  • @hotmulatto Girl whatever lmao...anyway, MsKar1, I understand what you're saying and I agree!

  • @mliam7 "Girl whatever" <---classy. You can disagree without getting ugly. (((moves on with her life)))

  • @hotmulatto Please do...thanks! ((smiles))

  • @hotmulatto

    Agree.

  • @hotmulatto All popular "black" women in america are very light skinned

  • I'm sitting here watching Femi on Austin City Limits right now. The crowd is so wack it's painful...

  • @StLaRok im watching it now! and yah i see what you mean about the crowd...

  • beng beng beng femi est tres fort on attend en cote d'ivoire(ivory coast) pour danser

  • All Femi's are favourites with the ladies.

  • beng beng beng

    whahahaaha xd

  • crazy video, luv it like food. bring back the old memories of the great city of Lagos. FEMI KUTI LIVE UR LIFE

  • quando un figlio d'arte merita!

  • lmao; I remember when i use to listen frequently to this song not actually knowing what Femi Kuti was singing about. Now I know this song is a good and obvious reference to Pops from "The Wayans Bros" when he's always saying BANG BANG BANG!!! as a way of making love to his wife; and Marlon and Shawn often imitate him saying BANG BANG BANG!!!

  • Where is this music from? It's very nice

  • @pollofritofrito its 100 percent Nigerian

  • @NigerianRocker Thank you, mate! Greetings from Mexico.

  • this is raw african masterpiece,

  • nice song

  • her ass is like a flat tire am i correct. you guys are arguing of bull____. divide and conquer. john hody hawkins and we fall for it. black is black is black...

  • Mr Kuti playing in Stockholm april 29th ♥♥♥

  • Music with Passion and love

  • pretty infectious song

  • Love this song! Thanks for the upload :)

  • Nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I remember this song was so controversial in Nigeria back in the day.

  • @playboyx85 Why was it controversial?

  • @afriqbeau Because of its explicit sexual nature

  • @playboyx85

they banned it cos it was too explicit...had to play it when he won KORA tho! was funny having my african friends asking me if i was nigerian cos i hadnt heard it

  • BLESSINGS FEMI KUTI!!!

  • YOU GO FEMI KUTI !!! You are your fathers son! his blood is running warm in your veins...Be bless!

  • this song just reminds me of africa

  • @igaqale, sorry no disrespect to you. But Halle Berrie only fits beauty of African women in America Not AFRICA. I give those sista's in Africa their props for their deep African features of pure blackness. Halle is only a drop of African blood she is no pedigree. Much love to my Nigerian Sisters be bless!

  • This is the philosophy of some daughters of the Diaspora in America-many of us might have mixed blood but we know the source of our heartbeat.

  • Tell it, sister! Oh, how I long to see the REAL images of BLACK BEAUTY. There is plenty among our brethren and sistren in Afrika!!!

  • Be bless my sista..We are TRUE BEAUTY, DIDN'T HAVE TO GET MIXED UP WITH ARTIFICIAL INGREDIENTS, THE REAL DEAL...GOD GAVE EVERYONE THEIR OWN!

  • Love you lots, MsKar1!

  • @MsKar1

i dno what ur on about, there's a wide range of beauty in africa, u see the dark sisters, chocolate sisters, caramel sisters and yellow sisters,, u see ppl with thick lips, big nose, big eyes, big ears, and u can come across ppl with small nose, thin lips.....

i for one im full nigerian, with no other mixture, im brown in color and my nose is that of a "typical" african, meanwhile my sister is yellow, proper yellow, her nose is well pointed, nd her lips r thin tooo. so u cant say..

  • @babylolli99 I'm on the same Africa you are on..So don't get it twisted. Read the text and don't go into speculation. I was giving my props, to the beautiful African Sistahs. You sound like you have some kind of inferiority complex. or have some self hatre going on. It's not about complexion it was about the beautiful full pedigree African features and I know we come in different flavors... That's whats up!

  • @MsKar1

i sound like i have inferiority complex?? lool jokes

im only trying to point out that u cant just say theres only one typical type of beauty in africa because there isnt,wt ur doing nw is discriminating those who dont "according to ur book " look "proper/full" african.

u cant sterrotype only one type of beauty in africa, there different types which is exactly my point!

and pls honey i do not have any inferiority issues, i love my skin and im very well pleased with it ,thank u

  • @babylolli99 Well from your statement it sounds as if you are having some kind of identity struggle and not really satisfied with your own beauty.,,I was giving all African people a compliment on our own beauty..We don't have to get mixed up in other people "cess pool" to define beauty...

  • @MsKar1

yea must sound that way to a retarded person enit,,

newys im not going to further explain my self to a retard like you, defo a waste of my time,,

u keep contradicting yourself ,, "It's not about complexion" "it was about the beautiful full pedigree African features" and "I know we come in different flavors..."

;mao, if we do come in diff flavors y u onabt full african features??

  • @MsKar1

my pt being, quit stereotyping, theres nothing like african features, nd i dnt hv identity issues, i speak for the ppl who dnt hv "typical african features" who get hated on nd r not accepted by fellow africans bcz they dnt hv "african features"

  • @babylolli99 Oh ! so now you want to go there with calling people names like"retarded" Now you are the incompetent one here and trying to "jump off"! there you go! because you have non African features, well that's not my problem that you are a desendent of a "rapist" You can't mess with Africa! because you weak and made from other peoples "cess pool"! boooyah!

  • @babylolli99 Well I speak for the ones who are bless! with Africa.! because we don't always get our recognition like it is deserved. Call it what every you want. Stereotyping, contraditions, convictions, and discrimination...We dark people of Africa always got to be underlooked and overlooked, but we are the "original" and true beauty of Africa, and you don't have to be light skinned or bleached to bring it out it's in us!

  • @MsKar1

    talk aBout double standards...

for a 44 yr old, u sure do speak and act like a child...

not gonna go there with you,,, END OF!

  • @babylolli99 @babylolli99 you dished it out now you can't handle it. When you open your mouth with negativity that is going to be the reprecussionst! I had to come down to your level..You started the insults with the "name calling" I was trying to be reasonable. You came up in my world. You not going to make me or mold me I'm rooted. You come up against "holy ghost power" you going to lose I know my place in this world and where I belong..That's the Africa in me! ..Be bless!

  • @MsKar1 THANK YOU, jesus, and even IN america, she only appeals to some.

  • @fishgul69 Bless your heart! We are on the same pages of life!

  • @MsKar1 that is not fair, ins't it??? black feature in africa is very complex issue. there are many african woman with halle berry feature in the continent without been mix. excluding the arabe tribe in the noth, the criteria of african physical beauty is not limited to that single stereotype imposed by the west. it is diverse and complex in it nature. in africa you don't need to be mix to look like halle berry. that gene is there in it purity. Halle berry never identify herself so badly.

  • @MsKar1

Wow! ur good at counting blood.

  • @MsKar1

That is not a very nice thing to say.

  • @MsKar1 there are african women that will make halle berrie shiver and i wonder why she is so overrated.

  • @MsKar1 i respect ur opinion but i disagree,as africans we hav diverse looking women , form the east u will find those who look more indian than africa and in the south u will find those who look like halle berry and to the north u find those who resemble middle eastern women. So the terrm African beauty is one that encompases all the different mixture of african queens we have and not the only the dark tone women u r accustomed too.

  • @TheFiyinfolu I'm not that ignorant to know that there are many different places in AFrica! & everyone has their own unique look..I'm just representing the dark complexion people in AFrica who are always so overlooked, and under rated..Beauty of course is deeper than the color of someone skin..But, people need to get off the surface, of what's attractive. Many Halle Berries, comes with a tacky character, and integrity, and ugly to the bone!. Being a dark skin sister I have to represent my own.

  • @TheFiyinfolu TRUE BRO. I am from the East africa (somalia) and I am proud to be African man just little bit of light skin or little bit of dark skin is nothing. even that can happen to within one family of mum , dad and their children. THE MAIN thing is WE AFRICANS have the most beautiful women. everything that women should be as well as know how to move that BODY perfactly. bless

  • @TheFiyinfolu TRUE BRO. • @MsKar1 "Pure blackness"? Are you racist?

  • @caiovarela Not at all..I love people from all places in the world..I'm just expressing my love for dark skin people in the World..If you read deeper in my comment you'll find the truth..

  • @MsKar1 'Pedigree'...you are speaking about women like they are dogs. Have some respect. Don't judge people on how much of a certain colour they have in their blood. You, sir/madam, are racist. Who cares where a person is from or what colour they are? There is black beautiful, white beautiful, brown...etc and then there is thin beautiful, fat beautiful... Beauty comes in different shapes and colours, don't compare, just appreciate.

  • @tombeast17 1st and foremost I'm female. Now that we got the gender right..Let's move on: I was giving my own opinion..So you just appreciate!

  • This is great

  • best song ever!!

  • i didn't say it was rap. it's afrobeat. i'm saying that this song is better than most of what is playing in nigeria today, including rap/r&b/etc.

  • oh, i haven't seen dis video in years. i LOVE this video. and the song..yeah it's hot. but the video is AMAZING. great production and so creative. much better than most of the videos from so-called nigerian rappers today.

  • this is not rap though... i believe it's called 'Afrobeat'...unless i am mistaken (^__^)!

  • Couldn't agree more. Right on.

  • nice...

  • This song reminds me of the African Dance classes I used to take in Montreal. When I want some oomph and energy, I play this on my i-device. Maybe it reminds me that I used to be loved and squeezed too -- maybe I'm trying to remember -- or rather recreate -- what that was like.

  • i love this song so much...brings memories ov my dad dancin nd me tryna copy him wen i was little LOL
