Everytime I cynically have given up on Humanity by seeing so many examples that people are lazy, selfish, greedy, self-centered, stupid, uncaring, warlike, sadistic and downright evil, there comes along people like the Carvers here who prove that the small flickering flame of Humanity hasn't gone completely out. I love the fact that they struggle to keep this old ranch alive and haven't succumbed yet to the pressures of this harsh world we live in today.
