  • Oh, i would like to see a human loked in a cage, screaming, and me with my camera recording it.

  • He is proly saying "get me out of this stupid cage, i belong in the wild." It makes me cry to see those beautiful animals in those tiny cages.

  • lsu lost that day in the cws.thats why

  • they have giant indoor cages too if your woried about the size of that cage

  • I like zoos I go there to sketch animals. Henry Doorly Zoo is the best but it seems there will always be an animal rights nut who will find fault even when the animals' welfare is topnotch!

  • Wow that is so cool.

  • Okay, thanks! I really appreciate the information! =)

  • Thank you very much for the information! It's nice to know that they have various enclosures of different sizes and switch around the animals to give them various environments to explore. Do you happen to know the dimensions of the enclosures, including this secondary one? I am very interested in exhibit design ( animals and architecture FTW! ).

  • WHAT A TERRIBLE ZOO!

Where is this zoo? How could these sick son of bitches cage the poor tiger in a condition like that?!

  • first off that tigers name is mona and she dose that when shes talking to you and second henry doorly zoo is one of the top zoos in the world and the cats are switch in between 3 diffrent areas so they dont get that bored and have new diffrent smells to keep them occupied

  • FTR. Its the Omaha Henrey Doorley Zoo. and yes its a world class zoo in the top 5 in the world the top 3 in the US

  • Sometimes I feel like people are never satisfied with what zoos do, even when they obviously put effort into giving them a nice enclosure, enrichment, and other things that they need. Sure, it would be best for them to be in the wild, but it's not safe for them, so it's a good idea for well managed zoos to help with the issue.

That being said, that enclosure does look rather small... Do you know if it's the main enclosure or just a small secondary?

  • I agree. Zoos are not ideal, but that is better then being killed by poachers in the wild

  • Thanks! ^^

Yeah, basically. At this point, this is one of our best options, as watching them in the wild can be quite difficult. There are a few zoos that seem to do a really good job at taking care of their animals and I really appreciate them. However, there are quite a few that aren't very good and I wish they would improve. Perhaps we can encourage them to do so somehow...

I forgot that I had made that comment. Thanks for the reminder!

  • seriously, my bathtub is bigger then that shithole

  • Than. The word is than not then.

  • I apologize, I forgot the internet was serious business and mistakes were forbidden.

  • only on my site. i is proud of zee english language

  • Good comment, poor thing looks bored to death.

  • @sweetdreams540 The people here in Omaha have been complaining about the cat house for years and years. It's going to get fixed in a few years, when they redesign the entire zoo.

  • he's miserable in there... :(

  • it sounds sad

  • Thought the same thing.

  • it sounds said

  • Oops, nevermind, i mistook it for another facility called Zoo Nebraska that got shut down by the USDA. But the cage is still appalling.

  • THAT CAGE IS APPALLING. Thank God this hellhole was finally shut down by the USDA. That poor beautiful cat.

  • he is saying "take me out of here im not deserve being here" humans deserve to be in cages" but if you feed me right now we forget all about it

  • Raaaaaaaghrrrrr

  • Thats a Leave me alone, I need some time alone roar.

  • that's not a roar
