It also allowed American companies to set up offshore corporate offices as a front to avoid paying their fair share of taxes. That took care of middle class jobs. Then $4 a gal. gas and gas price induced inflation on everything else meant that families discretionary money that fueled the economy was now being spent on necessities.

The need in production and distribution dwindled resulting in layoffs and downsizing.That led to more unemployment claims which added to the burden of the country. The money that use to pay credit cards and mortgages was being used to buy necessities. Resulting in foreclosures and more and more bad debt. That caused banks to tighten up credit markets. That caused even more families and businesses to fail.

They criticized Barack and Michelle for not showing any etiquette when they met the Queen of England. "They touched her your not suppose to touch her" but when the President met with a King they blew it so far out of proportion over him showing proper etiquette and bowing as they shook hands. As I stated in an earlier post, during the Democratic primary they did everything but endorse Obama over Hillary because they like most assumed their was no way he could actually win and even if he did he would be much easier to beat than Hillary. Now that he has won they look for anything to blow out of proportion and criticize. I'll give you a couple of examples: They said Obama was Muslim and you would never see them with a dog. Once they got one they criticized that it wasn't a shelter dog.
I have been listening to Walton and Johnson for about 10 years from 7-10 am because that is the same station that plays all the time at our Fire station. They would spend 3 minutes criticizing Bush and 2 hours and 57 minutes criticizing Democrats. Obama's having to spend trillions in order to fix the problems left by the Republicans. If you inherit a home thats falling down and you don't reinvest money into that property you end up 4 years later with the same broken down property.You blame Clinton, the first actual evidence of financial problems started in the 1980s under Reagan with the collapse of the savings and loan industry we lost over 700 financial institutions and what lesson did the GOP learn? No but it's obvious the companies own the politicians and thats where the politicians interest lie. With the companies who's lobbyist and special interest groups contribute the most money. Why else would they be on the side of the insurance companies. They claim it would kill free competition and drive prices up. Heres the thing they have had free competition since their inception yet costs didn't go down they continued to rise at an alarming rate. So that rational goes out the window.

NAFTA, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac worked fine until Bush began his deregulation crusade in his second year in office and without that oversight you end up where we are now. Why is it everyone managed to afford those mortgages while Clinton was in office and until about Bush's 2nd term? Deregulation and gas price induced inflation...

It all started from clinton and look at obama spending trillion of dollars. The economy did go up. Thats a good thing he did. But hes losing more jobs than gaining any. people calling others racist for not liking him and i know many blacks who dont support him. Im not saying agree with me but think about it by degrading bush. Obama isnt doing what he said.

You never hear from the other side. As soon as someone does call in with an opposing view point they simply twist their words around and cuts them off. If they are going to spend most of their show knocking anyone not Republican they need to have someone arguing the oppositions point of view and leave up to listeners to weigh the facts and decide on their own.

They criticized Barack and Michelle for not showing any etiquette when they met the Queen of England. "They touched her your not suppose to touch her" but when the President met with a King they blew it so far out of proportion over him showing proper etiquette and bowing as they shook hands. To listen to Walton and Johnson you would've thought he was on the floor kissing his feet. People who are Republicans do not find it biased because it validates their right wing point of view.

As I stated in an earlier post, during the Democratic primary they did everything but endorse Obama over Hillary because they like most assumed their was no way he could actually win and even if he did he would be much easier to beat than Hillary. Now that he has won they look for anything to blow out of proportion and criticize. I'll give you a couple of examples: They said Obama was Muslim and you would never see them with a dog. Once they got one they criticized that it wasn't a shelter dog.

I have been listening to Walton and Johnson for about 10 years from 7-10 am because that is the same station that plays all the time at our Fire station. They would spend 3 minutes criticizing Bush and 2 hours and 57 minutes criticizing Democrats. They are Republicans giving their Republican viewpoints and the problem lies in the fact that so many people take them to be an unbiased news source.

For years Republicans have ignored these problems and just sang the national anthem a little louder and hope it goes away.Well now its time to pay the piper and the wealthy don't want to pay and their mad.They would rather use loopholes put in place by Republicans with the help of deregulation to set up offshore accounts to avoid paying their fair share of reduced taxes in the first place.Bush is like an ex-wife that ran up a huge credit card bill and now the husband or Obama must pay that debt.

Maybe the reason you have 5 major news organizations reporting the news one way and only 1 reporting it another is because the truth lies in the majority. I mean if you had 5 doctors telling you needed a heart transplant in 24 hours or you'll die and 1 doctor telling you its just gas go home and go to bed who would you listen to? But in the 80s under Regan and Bush Sr. the U.S. actually funded and provided weapons to who? The Taliban. When Bin Laden attacked our embassy in Africa during the Monica Lewinsky scandal, Clinton was the first to launch an attack on Bin Laden and the Taliban.

Letting the ones that can afford to pay 3% more in taxes and stimulating 95% of consumers is only smart business sense. As for the Democrats controlling Congress they did not gain control until Bush's 6th year in office and then they did not have enough members to prevent a filibuster. Every time they tried to do anything they were blocked by the Republicans.

It's not share the wealth. It's share the debt. Thats what taxes are for thats the governments revenue thats what they pay debts with. This economic crisis will be bailed out not by the wealthiest top 5% but by the 95% of Americans making making less than $250,000 a year. That 95% are the consumers in this economy. They are the ones that drive this economy. What good are you doing when you give tax breaks to wealthiest top 5% if the 95%of consumers cant afford their services or products. ..
