Do you know what makes that sound that the father is able to hear in the forrest? What kind of animal or entity is, why is the man hearing that sound?

Good movie. I like sentimentle movies of this kind. although i was alone while watching it, i felt like i had a house full of company with me because the movie had that much affect on me, about what the family was going through, the realistic emotions of the father crying (grown man) . Yes, we men cry also, not just the women. I can relate to that. We men have feelings too. I want to see more movies like this. We are all humans,

OHHHHHH.....I just realized I saw this movie a few years back...UNBELIEVABLE...as an American, I get disgusted when I hear other Americans raving about movies they think are so wonderful and they stink!!! Watch more FOREIGN films then you will see great movies : )

Thank you for your feedback. I do agree that many Americans don't appreciate or realize the quality and beauty of several films industries around the world. Hollywood has its charms, but the real magic is out there. This is the whole point of the international film club. I hope that through it, I can widen the horizons of film lovers and expose them to what may be considered to some, Hidden gems.

excellant film. one should not miss this. there are many other great iranian films. barran. taste of cherry. children of heaven. circle. etc. etc.

I do agree with you. The Iranian film industry is definitely cable of producing some strong emotional films.

Actually the Color of Paradise is ON-Demand here in the US meaning rentable through our cable tv.

This and children of heaven are some of the most touching movies in existence. There are so many wonderful films out of Iran. You have great taste in film!
