Not fucking punk?!! Well what is punk then you fucking drongos?I dunno..some people live their whole lives and never learn anything do they..One thing about punk is that it was/is a broad church. It's about attitude and the way you live your life
Any one who says this isn't punk does not understand the essence of what punk was in the 70's. It wasn't about uniform or cloned looks it was about being unique individual and standing out from the crowd. I'm sure anyone from that era won't care what u label them, that wasn't the point -:0)
The Rezillos came in on the tail end of 'punk' and labels aren't important. The music's what counts and nobody at that time ever surpassed them or came close within the genre. For what it's worth, I think they had even the mighty Ramones licked when it came to pure energy and fun, and damn it, they could play. I recall leaving a gig of theirs in late '78 totally spent. The 'zillos were a FUN band.
Im 20. I don't want to make this obsolete. I grew up listening to my mums vinyls and I'll appreciate this over any of the new street punk stuff. Nothing compares to the energy or the power of this.
I think you 14-21 yeqr olds, if you think like that one poster, are sad. Invent something for yourselves, can't you? I wish you would come up with something to make us obsolete, but you don't seem to be able to! Has it all been done?

Only people really watching this shit are like 50 year olds, compared to people that are of a younger age from anywhere from 14-21. this is complete shit.
I saw them live at (I think) the dinky Baltimore club called The Marble Bar. Used to have the LP but they changed the band name at onepoint to The Revillos. I did a college TV show called Flying Saucer Attack w/ them supplying the theme song...
No wonder that I couldn't buy a copy of this one, they must have had about 50 copies pressed up! As a result, no one's got a copy to upload onto this site, and we just have live versions
@Poopingbotham I've got a version of Good Sculptures on my channel - maybe what your looking for? - think it's an original demo. The original single from 1977 was recently posted too.
But does he like her coz she really does good sculptures, or is she is just good at handjobs??? ( er, not that good, they cut his skin more than once! )
This shows The Rezillos at their quirky best, a talented bunch that could make Jo Callis's music and lyrics swing. underated but never by their fans who appreciate genius.
@tuesdayjoe Great bounding turds! Reckon the author mistook the bass player for the Faye woman- So sorry calling you "weather beaten" & "showing the ravages of time!" Now I'm gonna cop it from both sides..... Sorry (Now I'm going- GOODBYE !)
I would love to hear a post from the members of these great groups and hear what they think looking back now. Nostalgia is like sugar, should only be taken in very small quantities.
Ah, The Rezillos - I had their records & came close to seeing 'em as The Revillos one night, were it not for chemical substance intervention ;- still, they remain a highly exciting punk band ;- one of the best I've heard.
There just aren't many bands today that can generate the same level of excitement. They had a great sound ;- bubblegum fun. I'm still kicking myself for not seeing them live.
