  • Fantastic,,,the best performance on Youtube!! Faye,,,I Love Ya!!!

  • THey are playing at The Arc Stockton On Tees Nov 9 2011. I hope to be there. Hope they are as good as they were when last I saw them '78

  • Awesome!! totaly agree with fillphat,,Punk rock at its best,,Eugene is such a fantastic frontman!! Long Live The Rezillos!!

  • Not fucking punk?!! Well what is punk then you fucking drongos?I dunno..some people live their whole lives and never learn anything do they..One thing about punk is that it was/is a broad church. It's about attitude and the way you live your life

  • P.S. Love u Faye

  • Any one who says this isn't punk does not understand the essence of what punk was in the 70's. It wasn't about uniform or cloned looks it was about being unique individual and standing out from the crowd. I'm sure anyone from that era won't care what u label them, that wasn't the point -:0)

  • Awesome tune, energy and entertainment. Takes me back :)

  • biggest mistake of the rezillos is that faye fife should be the only lead singer

  • how good was that ..... makes you glad to be alive

  • Saw them live a coupla years ago, they still got it!

  • Famous oldies

  • great ORIGINAL band!

  • Im 20. I don't want to make this obsolete. I grew up listening to my mums vinyls and I'll appreciate this over any of the new street punk stuff. Nothing compares to the energy or the power of this.

  • easily one of the coolest bands ever, love em x

  • I think you 14-21 yeqr olds, if you think like that one poster, are sad. Invent something for yourselves, can't you? I wish you would come up with something to make us obsolete, but you don't seem to be able to! Has it all been done?

  • another very good one from this band

  • Found a vinyl copy of this today in a second hand shop....i was so happy i was dancing around like Fay Fife!!

  • Only people really watching this shit are like 50 year olds, compared to people that are of a younger age from anywhere from 14-21. this is complete shit.

  • 一番右、ブリブリじゃねーかW

  • Why are so many douche bags so concerned with what to label this? Just listen and shut the fuck up!

  • I saw them live at (I think) the dinky Baltimore club called The Marble Bar. Used to have the LP but they changed the band name at onepoint to The Revillos. I did a college TV show called Flying Saucer Attack w/ them supplying the theme song...

  • Wow...remember when you could still have fun and rock out and not worry about "demographics" and "markets" and all that shit?

  • this is original punk rock !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this....this is not punk rock

  • No wonder that I couldn't buy a copy of this one, they must have had about 50 copies pressed up! As a result, no one's got a copy to upload onto this site, and we just have live versions

  • Live versions of this song? About 10. Original studio version? 0

  • @Poopingbotham I've got a version of Good Sculptures on my channel - maybe what your looking for? - think it's an original demo. The original single from 1977 was recently posted too.

  • fucking brilliant, agreed. Punk rock, no.

  • But does he like her coz she really does good sculptures, or is she is just good at handjobs??? ( er, not that good, they cut his skin more than once! )

  • written about Barbara Hepworth, apparently...

  • The song ended five minutes ago, and I'm still grinning like a fool.

  • @xXultroskaterXx that is charlie sheen! why do you think he gets so many babes??!!

  • A BANDA QUE INSPIROU O B 52 ! O AUTENTICO PUNK ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!

  • THATS PUNK!!!!

  • great

  • the rezillos NOT the brit B52's.....the B52's are lame

  • 3 Decades I know Rezillos - I love them from the start, thanks for loading it up

  • my fave rezillos' track

  • YEAH !!! One of the best clips i've ever seen .What a GREAT BAND.

  • fay-fyffe.fae lochee

  • This band was a cheesefest. That's why I like them.

  • Annoying how YT has stretched this vid out.

  • I saw 'em live in 1977. I had THE BEST TIME,

    That is all.

  • top....the british b52s

  • @jobbieface I agree with you- they do sort of remind one of the B52's but perhaps slightly more punky. This is not a bad thing. Lots of energy.

  • i played the Rezllios for Fred Schneider of the B-52's about 10 years ago and he had naver heard of them. He loved them!

  • i saw the rezillos at newcastle city hall in 1978, friggin awesome!!!!

    loved faye top bird wow

    so much energy

later saw the revillos after they split at the same venue

    still got all their discs

  • Fearless and willing to say something. Love 'em forever.

  • this is not just pure music but also a damn science!!!

  • This shows The Rezillos at their quirky best, a talented bunch that could make Jo Callis's music and lyrics swing. underated but never by their fans who appreciate genius.

  • @tuesdayjoe Great bounding turds! Reckon the author mistook the bass player for the Faye woman- So sorry calling you "weather beaten" & "showing the ravages of time!" Now I'm gonna cop it from both sides..... Sorry (Now I'm going- GOODBYE !)

  • the dogs what more can i say

  • second best band of all time saw the rezillos 4 times and the lesser revilos 3 times x

  • hifi harris

  • The Rezillos were the best. Try this to drum to! (and some of the others).

  • workitworkitworkitworkitworkitworkitworkitworkitworkitworkitworkitworkitworkitworkit

  • forgot how good they were! saw them early 80s

  • His name is Eugine Reynolds

  • sorry blade not my type of music

  • awesome band."cant stand the rezillos"is a superb album

  • This band was so good at the time..so much energy and creatve music...wish they had made more records

  • Saw them on Arran as the Revillos - don't remember the year. This is one of my favourite UK punk era songs - always makes me drive like an idiot.

  • Mr. J. Mascis said: Hottest bass playing ever. yeah.

  • Good stuff. My mate tells me they are still playing live.

  • I would love to hear a post from the members of these great groups and hear what they think looking back now. Nostalgia is like sugar, should only be taken in very small quantities.

  • great stuff -saw em at the marquee

  • Punks, no. Ballsy yes, would you wear pink leathers onstage? THis is a good rock and roll song, needs no label

  • Ah, The Rezillos - I had their records & came close to seeing 'em as The Revillos one night, were it not for chemical substance intervention ;- still, they remain a highly exciting punk band ;- one of the best I've heard.

There just aren't many bands today that can generate the same level of excitement. They had a great sound ;- bubblegum fun. I'm still kicking myself for not seeing them live.

  • is the real show of the rock

  • Shawadywady meets the UK subs.

Brilliant band, The LP this was from was one of the best of the time i reckon.

  • Greatest Rock'n'roll band EVER!!!!!!!!!!

  • 90 out of 10! fucking brilliant!

    punk rock at its best!

  • @fillphat This isn't punk rock!

  • @whitbyjet65 oh yes it is pal. c'mon explain.... Falkirk 1977/1978 and the Rezillos were always the 'support band' but the band we all really went to see. Saw them in London at the Marqee too and t'was fucking awesome wall to wall Scots going mental

.Why are you watching this anyway? Faye Fife I'm sure, could help yer heid these days! Whitby......indeed.

  • @ph2tay I'm not disrespecting the band, I'm simply stating they're not punk.

  • @whitbyjet65 What is punk then if this is not punk? They only did a song, with Top of the Pops in the title,to get on the telly. Also punk bands did that show.Back then it was still a cool show. Not like it ended up in the end, with bands lip sinking on there.

  • @legandrydirk I never said punk bands didn't play TOTP! I doubt the Rezillos would ever claim they were punk. They're a bloody pop band. Real punk bands? Sex Pistols, Dead Kennedys, Exploited, Bad Brains, Discharge etc but NOT the Rezillos. I'm not slagging off the Rezillos. They're great at what they do but it's obvious to anyone who knows about punk that they're nothing LIKE a punk band.

  • @whitbyjet65 Blondie was classed as punk at the time.If they were a punk band,so were Rezillos.

  • @legandrydirk Not by punks they weren't. Blondie were a great pop band. Don't believe what stiff in suits tell you. You need to get your info from the street not from teeny-bop magazines.

  • @whitbyjet65 I do not hang with suites. And know folk my mates parents generation.Who are all ex punks. And were around in London working at the time. And Blondie was a punk band.Punks turned up at there gigs and love Debbie Harry at the time. You can still be a popular band, and hold on to your punk rock ethics. And still have mainstream pop inspiration from the Beatles as a example.Kurt Cobain was proof off that with Nirvana. They still managed to hold there credibility just like Blondie also did.

  • @legandrydirk I was around in the 70s. Blondie were seen as more of a new wave band. I'm not knocking Blondie. They were a great band (not so sure about the current line-up) but they were never a punk band. I know because I was alive in 76.

  • @whitbyjet65 I was also alive in 76.And your talking rubbish about them. The new line ups been making music, longer than the original line up.

  • @legandrydirk You were one year old in 1976. Babies didn't experience/understand the punk movement lol. Where did I say the new line-up hasn't been making muisc longer than the old one? Please point to that statement because I don't remember making it. What's the problem here anyway? I'm not slagging anyone off , I'm simply stating the fact that Blondie & the Rezillos weren't/aren't & have never been punk.

  • @whitbyjet65 I know that your not. There is no problem here.I just do not agree with you.And your list of punk bands, seem to have a heavy sound.Punk is not just about a heavy sound and playing three chords. It can also be good.Bands like The Melvins are classed as punk. But they can play heavy and mellow. The punk movement in Glasgow, stayed on after the 70ties.The 70ties was only happening for a few months in London. The best bands came from the sticks,in my opinion in the UK.Better than London shit.

  • @legandrydirk But like everything else, after the initial movement, you get all the copycat bands and wanna-bes. It goes soft & loses its impact. Everyone jumps on the bandwagon & the true spirit & meaning is lost. But hey, if you prefer the later stuff, that's fine.

  • @whitbyjet65 at the time there was a term "new wave"..it was common back then and people used it. that term was often confused with punk..Blondie was a new wave band and yes the rezillos were punk, albeit a polished punk band, much like buzzcocks, vibrators. These bands were on big labels and often had experienced producers, thank goodness the punkness usually remained. Now this band did become the "revillos" an attempt at new wave. And thank goodness they sounded good also.

  • @gumbeet Thank you for that explaination but I WAS alive back then. I knew this already.

  • Ho hohohoho If that was not rock and roll what was it ?

  • yehy funny as fuck! well talented band! totally gave it everything they had! most rock and roll bands just now are just wee poncey college giitts! but these guys rock! a punky bonzo dog doo daa band

  • Ha - I remeber dancing onstage behind them, Eugene cracked up, but Fay said it was OK - that brings back great memories

  • That song is not as amazing without that awesome bass line they do during the breakdown on the album. Also, that is the best drum kit ever

  • Fay ! What a babe !

  • Blinding track! had the pleasure of seeing them live in Brunel University,Uxbridge in 1978 or 1979? supported by The Undertones and Joy Division, would you believe. All three were brilliant but in very different ways! What a bill!

  • Wow, I'm jealous !!

The closest to that I managed was The Buzzcocks supported by Joy Division at Dundee, about 1979.

  • I saw them at The Silver Thread Hotel, Paisley in 1977. Fay fell off a chair on top of me! I never quite got over that. It cost fifty pence. Ah, happy memories. Hey! Did anyone notice the guitar break in a pastiche of Zal Clemminson's solo on the live version of The Sensational Alex Harvey Band's Vambo?

  • lol, im sure the guitar pashiche was not lost on most if not all of us cerebral old punk fans.

Although i was honestly reminded of John Lee Hookers choppy guitar sound.

  • I'd give her 50 P to land on me!

  • LOL amazing shit. my friends just never got it, fuck them for missing out on this

  • Faye is a GILF.

  • Grandma I'd like to .....

  • faye is a gift granny id f twice

  • Love it! Nothing better than The rezillos Live at Clouds

  • I saw them supporting the Ramones at Clouds in Edinburgh

  • YES!!

Rezillos still top any "punk" band today

  • Brilliant, I wish I'd seen them live then. But when I was in Dundee they played at Aberdeen, then when I moved to Aberdeen, they played in Dundee. You can't win sometimes !

  • listen to that nasty tone.

    brilliant

  • good band :)

  • Great `New wave` classic! Saw the Rezillos several times, madcap, sh*tkicking sounds! And Eugene Reynolds` quiff was huge!!!

  • The very definition of KICKASS. DG.

  • One of the best bands to come out of Scotland

  • One of my all-time favorite songs. Rouge talons fonce!

  • Brilliant stuff!

  • brilliant!
