@KburgNJ I agree but also remember theirs a lot of no gear tackle football teams recreational wise. Something about the bulk gear leaves you more prone to injury. I played both rugby and football through college and i got two surgeries because of football no major injuries in rugby even though it was more direct constant contact.

@KburgNJ I agree but also remember theirs a lot of no gear tackle football teams recreational wise. Something about the bulk gear leaves you more prone to injury. I played both rugby and football through college and i got two surgeries because of football no major injuries in rugby even though it was more direct constant contact.

@BKsMassive I got bored when I've watched that video. And yes, I watched all kinds of highlights from rugby to Australian Football to American Football. From my observations, only two sports stand out and that is hockey and American Football.

There's a difference between wrapping up and actually hitting someone and wearing that helmet on your head allows you to deliver a hit. You see... In football... I actually counted five, MAYBE six illegal hits and I actually know what I'm talking about. A couple of them were face masks. Helmet to helmet hits are only illegal if the receiver is in the process of catching the ball (defenseless) and the player leads with their shoulder/helmet or launches, and usually with the flagrant intent of injuring the player.
