Dear man, precious man, what I wouldn't have done for you to know the unfailing love of Him Who gave His all for you; only to be outspokenly rejected by you time and time again. Christians around the world mourn your death with a more bitter heart than any of your friends could know. Oh, Christopher!
@biancaarielle What believers take to be the divine is what Socrates (another atheist) referred to as his "inner daimon" - the innate instinct for doing that which supports well-being. You need not mourn that he missed hearing The Voice; we all hear it. While believers think they hear the voice of one ego, atheists understand we hear the heartbeat of the universe - the cycle of birth and passing away; the web of causality and the weeping joy of tenderness. We see and hear very well, thank you.
Now perhaps an agnosticism a la Vince Bugliosi's variety will emerge stronger.

The relevant message here:
Don't drink like a fish and smoke like a chimney- or you will end up looking like you just had an enema.
Exercise, get your sleep, eat nutritious food , don't smoke and drink moderately

Ironic isn't it that Kim Jong Il died less than a week after Hitch did. Cheers Christopher. I'll miss you.

Atheism has lost its perhaps sharpest and most eloquent voice.
You'll be greatly missed, Hitch!
