  • SKOTP69 You have great taste!!, the dj

  • Square Pegs Kicks Butt!! It was a crying shame it was only on for one year, what was CBS thinking. Oh, that's right, that's the network that was going to cancel Everybody Loves Raymond, after it's first season, To bad that person wasn't around in '83. The DEVO episode RULES!!!!!!!! (title: Muffy's Bat Mitzvah), the dj

  • @JeffTheNebraskaDJ I LOVED the D-E-V-O episode!

  • did they change the lyrics?

    seems like it

  • tony dow was in the christmas episode

  • 1982-1983 tv season was the last real great time-Fall 83 arrived and i hated all the new shows on the (then)big 3 networks, by then i stopped watching tv-had a vcr -rented tapes more often .Now have Square Pegs on dvd and its a blast still

  • I remember watching this show even though I must have only been in preschool. The closing credits song has stuck in my head for all these years.

  • I'm very happy that Square Pegs is so fondly remembered by so many people.

Hard to believe that Sarah Jessica Parker once played an unattractive, unpopular girl.(Chuckle!)

  • That girl standing at the left has a nice ass

  • I think her character's name was Muffy, believe it or not.

  • @Gerkinstock That was Jami Gertz as Muffy.

  • Love the Waitresses!!!!!!!

  • one of the greatest closing themes ever! right up there with wkrp.

  • I can't believe it only lasted a few months! (I remember it lasting longer than that. But, I guess as a kid a few months is a long time.) For people my age it's a major part of their tween years and the 80s. Not bad for a programme that didn't last a full season!

  • This definately needed or needs an update-What happend to the characters after 1983? ..a missed opportunity to a great series.

  • In an early episode, the opening and closing themes were reversed, so that The Waitresses' theme OPENED the show, and Tom Scott's opening theme was heard during the closing credits...

  • Love me some Waitresses! Best. Show. Ever.
