Square Pegs Kicks Butt!! It was a crying shame it was only on for one year, what was CBS thinking. Oh, that's right, that's the network that was going to cancel Everybody Loves Raymond, after it's first season, To bad that person wasn't around in '83. The DEVO episode RULES!!!!!!!! (title: Muffy's Bat Mitzvah), the dj
1982-1983 tv season was the last real great time-Fall 83 arrived and i hated all the new shows on the (then)big 3 networks, by then i stopped watching tv-had a vcr -rented tapes more often .Now have Square Pegs on dvd and its a blast still
I can't believe it only lasted a few months! (I remember it lasting longer than that. But, I guess as a kid a few months is a long time.) For people my age it's a major part of their tween years and the 80s. Not bad for a programme that didn't last a full season!
In an early episode, the opening and closing themes were reversed, so that The Waitresses' theme OPENED the show, and Tom Scott's opening theme was heard during the closing credits...
SKOTP69 You have great taste!!, the dj

I remember watching this show even though I must have only been in preschool. The closing credits song has stuck in my head for all these years.

I'm very happy that Square Pegs is so fondly remembered by so many people.
Hard to believe that Sarah Jessica Parker once played an unattractive, unpopular girl.(Chuckle!)
