yeah, that actually is possible and its an actual manuever for vectored thrust capable planes. Its just not the safest manuever, but its definitly possible and its been done. It also looks Freaking awesome when they do it :P

There is only one HAWX game :P Hopefully there will be sequels, I enjoyed this game. Although i'll be expecting a lot of AC fans flaming me for liking this game :(

impossible, its like 64MB of ram for that card, and its way too old. My ATI FireGLx1 128mb didnt even work, had to go buy a ATI Sapphire 3850HD to run this, and it lags a bit. GLuck.

this game is too easy.evading missiles is very easy without ERS on Elite.And why doesn't the enemy use countermeasures to evade missiles as well.

Even if Elite is easy, that doesn't mean that this game is of no worth. It is totally amazing and even if you have a 1GB RAM and 8600GT and non core2duo 2Ghz Series like mine, you can play it at a very nice quality. I commend this game as one of the most Outstanding Modern Combat Flight Simulator. I perfectly disagree with the comment of Peterson1138 and this is for him and everybody else who doesn't like this game. Thanks.

The flight controls are set up like in real life and in flight simulators, you need to tilt your plane to be able to move to your left or right. It's all about aeronautics. If you have played other flight combat games you find that a lot of the time this is done for you, but in this game it isn't.

Tom Clancy is a famous writer who has written alot of books about terrorism and armyrelated topics. then, ubisoft began making games based upon some of his books/ideas/etc.

Yes it is, and it was with Tom's permission of cause (interestingly enough unlike back in Red Storm days, he is no longer directly involved unfortunately, but apparently he had some say in this version which is why it rules), the first one was Rainbow 6 for the Nintendo 64, PC and Playstation in 1998 with a multiplayer expansion in 1999. The Nintendo 64 version of it was rubbish though because it got nerfed for that system to handle.

But yeah to clarify, Tom Clancy wanted to make games to act as franchise side products for his books, that and he had a general love for video games and saw it as a profitable investment, he and a couple of his friends who were into programming and were once in the military founded Red Storm in 1996, they made all the Tom Clancy games up until they were acquired by Obisoft in 2000, from then on they developed the franchise under their corporate owner name.
