  • Hi, I have the same kind, and I tried to do this several times (I had 2 boards ) but each time the same thing, it worked for only a week or less and then drop dead again...why is it so?

  • Uhuu, aqui também fiz o procedimento e o netbook voltou a viver, obrigado!!!

  • Bought this crapbook to my girlfriend 2 years ago. Worked for about a year, just so warranty expired and then nothing. Took out computer today and started googling for a solution and I found this.....and I´ll be damned..it WORKED!!! I put mobo on owen paper instead of four balls of aluminium foil. Thought it would be better if it was lying down properly if any components would drop. Thanks again! Lets see how long this work. How long have you guys been running now??!!

  • A easier way that worked on mine is: 1 plug it in without battery and hold down the power button for a minute. 2. Unplug it from the mains, put the battery in and reboot. Then it worked. I got the tip off a website. Good luck.

  • you can also repair mainboard with hot air gun

  • soldier in the processor and motherboard? where do I find the bios and how to remove it? decimated the solder pcmcia to try to boot the tape under it. fuck!

  • do i have to remove cpu n graphic?

  • pls i dont get it i took everything out but still didnt work.what im i doing wrong?

  • Nice, just a question but how long did it hold? Or does it still work as of today? :O

  • i tried this 3 times...i got 1 random boot out of it after the 2nd try then i think i roasted the board on the 3rd try lol i dont even get power anymore lol i kinda let it stay around 10mins instead of 8. i'm gonna wash it off with alc and maybe try again or just buy a new board since it got so cheap.

  • the hp you fix has a workin wifi light the most comon fault is only power light turns blue this will not be the solution

  • Hey! my hp2133 was broke for over 2 years now! xD and then i tried your oven trick and it really works again haha so cool! :D

  • Mine has half screen how do I fix that?

  • it is okay, not make mobo melting ?

  • very interesting way to "repair" your mainboard, isn´t it? :)

but Iam not quite sure what I have to remove from the mainboard in particular. yes of course, I removed DDR, the bios battery and the bluetooth/wifi, but what else? What does the processor looks like? Have you removed the heat sink as well? Can you be more precise with that??

  • @DennisOnTheWay you have to remove all the removable parts :)

heatsink also, just leave the motherboard naked, also remove the plastic layers. (and buy some heatsink grease because when you reensamble your 2133 you will need for graphic and cpu)

  • @DennisOnTheWay Ah the CPU looks like a CPU VIA :P check that have heatsin paste over it when you take your heatsink

  • Still working! :D i broke the screen so now is a media center :D

  • Oven?

  • They do that because of some thing malting like xbox360s!

  • This works especially well in a microwave oven

  • Excelente hice todo al pie de la letra y volvio a dar video , FELICITACIONES Y GRACIAS !!!

  • @WilliamsF182 Que bueno! hahah me alegro! buena suerte ;)

  • Hehe.. nice idea.. i had the same problem.. and made it this way... 250 degrees, 7min30 in the oven :) and now it works again... now i gonna check if it's for longer... :))

    big thx :)

  • @masterfridge mine still working :) after 1 year

  • brother i works very good and also taste very sweet.

i think i will bake all my laptop. hahahahahahahaha

    thanks you are the best

  • that is my travel computer bro =)

  • Hey bro please view my channel i have a probelm with mines and tell me where is the motherboard that all i need to cook right is the mother board?

  • Thank you, it works fine for me too :-) My HP Mini laptop was totally dead, black screen, no fan working, and the screen flashing fast white when shutdown with the button. I completely removed the motherboart, processor, heatsink, and "cooked" at 220°C for 10 minutes. Then after 1 hour, reassembled and the laptop ... alive! Thank you :-) Very funny too :-)

  • it works, but the question is for how long? what did we do with oven??

  • @maticzz 1 year already

  • thanx very much! I also worked with mine. I disassembled everything but the cpu and chipset; I pre-heated my oven on 250°C and I "cooked" my MB for about 5 min. And tada! It worked again... for how long ?? We'll see.

  • you are the man bro! you are a genius! it works! it really works!

  • This actually works I did it the first time like you said but it didnt work so I did it a second time but at 250 celcius for 10 minutes and it worked perfectly been running so far since yesterday without any problems

  • @lbxmobbin1203 that is sweet man! i feel good that the video help so many frustrated buyers of this netbook

    cheers

  • @Dontao I do not like netbooks anyway,ultraportable is abetter(MacBook Air 11'')

I have used a friends and my defunct netbook now...will get one ASAP

  • muchas gracias, a mi me funciono perfecto use un termómetro de termo par para medir la temperatura en el horno y ahora la hp mini funciona de maravilla, menciona que no se les pasa quitar la batería de respaldo de bios

  • @tom4316 :D me alegro!!!!

  • hice lo mismo y funciono!!! gracias por el video!!

  • i do it,and nothing.Not working

  • your wellcome :D im happy that a lot of people are now with the hp working now :D

i still with the same notebook :D

  • cool, it works! thx man!

  • amazing ...it worked :D

  • I attempted this technique today and it worked. Amazing. thank you. the only thing I did was I partially removed the card reader hardware. This was a mistake because the weight of the card reader connector was enoughfor it to fall off due to gravity when the solder softened. I wasn't using it anyway. HP 2133 mini now boots. It hasn't used it in almost a year so I'm applying all the updates.

    Thank you very much.

  • comment: i did it too works now :)

  • really ?? send me a message or add me in MSN please :) informatique911@msn.com HELP !! :S
