I liked it but IDK..maybe Im too much of a traditionalist ...I thought it was more to show how to shake your butt (of which you certainly know how :-) and less about movement. I like modern but just didnt get the choreography.

this video is SICK!! this is the tightest routine i've ever seen. nonasina never ceases to amaze me with it's innovative style, beauty and grace. who would ever think a solo violin with a drumbeat could accompany tahitian dancing? way to think outside the box. these girls are AMAZING-don't they ever get tired? to shake like that for that long...sheesh! there was something new to see every second. loved the choreography, the music, the shaking, the hair, EVERYTHING! I love this. The expression of artistic freedom in this dance is so admirable. It's refreshing to know that there are still people who are able to open their minds and administer to the creative thirsts in which so many can only wish to tap into. ...right on, sista's.I've done some tahitian/hula/kahiko choreography for some "different" kinds of music besides the usual same kine' instruments...and it's good to see that I'm not the only one thinking on this level.Yes, it can be controversial due to the traditionalists out there, but as a dancer,of ALL kinds of dance, it's good to express your art, no matter what peopple think.
